As someone who is a coward and therefore doesn't want to get involved with risky things like this and who doesn't have the drive to study these things in detail to know that maybe these kinds of investments aren't as risky as they seem (ignoring the current crash maybe in the long term things will get better) I do feel schadenfreude but I also know that these guys were going out there and taking a well informed gamble, something I never could do
The fact that they lost this time and that a lot of people have lost a lot of money (lives ruined) makes me hesitate from embracing this schadenfreude, also the fact that a lot of people have won in the past can bias your evaluation of the situation

I am basically free at what I consider level 1 of wealth, I have all the time in the world no mortgage no waging ect and if worse comes to worse I can work and live comfortable with low enough expenses I could start investing again from wagie savings, however I am continuing with crypto and chainlink bc I am very well positioned that if it does succeed the pay offs would take me into a whole new tier of wealth, generational wealth that is... I have hedged my bets because I feel like the entire financial world and society itself for that matter is about to change forever more so I have divested 10% into precious metals and even bought 100k XRP incase the schizos are right... regardless I think chainlink and it's software will be irreplaceable in the new automated economy, the 4th industrial revolution.
