I have a lot of investing regrets but selling LINK at $50 never features in that list at all.
We were early, early bullrun. LINK had been performing well, but not crazy well at any point. Retail hype level was still nonexistent. We were so far from "euphoria" that there was absolutely no reason to assume that was the local top for years afterwards.
It's something I can look back on feel fine about because there was no reason at the time to "see it coming".

What are you a retard?
Sure there was no way to see it coming, but for me if I trusted all the patterns I learned to recognize like my 10 year old cousin asking me about doge and knowing how much money the jews printed I should've at least sold half or some shit instead of still wagecucking like a faggot.
I actually was a retard.
But yeah honestly we shouldn't be so tough on ourselves I just can't help it.

You would need to be severely retarded to have sold anywhere above 40$ in may and not have bought back in for the eoy run. Even if you did not, how can you not buy back when staking finally got announced 6 months ago? When the old CEO of google joined in shortly after? Wut do now? Sell and try to buy back in at 3$ waiting room just to get btfo'ed by a sudden green candle like the google pump? We are trapped; like deer in headlights. Went from mid 6 figs to 30k

Yea ngl LINK completely fucked a lot of people here. Sergey was talking about staking this and staking that. Then the CCIP shit. Eric Schmidt etc and we didn't even pump back to $40 in November. I did cash some out for living expenses and a vacation. Right now imo there's nothing else to do than continue holding. BTC might find the macro bottom this year. LINK is showing some strength finally by gaining sats. Nothing else to do than learn from your mistakes. It could easily climb to top 10 while BTC crabs with other alts bleeding. It all depends on the stock market as well. A clear overall bottom is needed first imo.

It was nit obvious we wouldbhabe reached these tops link at 50 was nit even top 20 afair. The question is how to manage it going forward with potential 3-4 digits in the next years. Whats your plan?

Checked. Yea it was not obvious at all, I guess the only way at that point to profit was to look at the market with a cool head and seeing how it was time for BTC to have a correction which means ALL the alts no matter what will nuke. That means that yes you take your shitty gains you got with LINK and be happy with those even though LINK just broke 100k sats and was about to rip. Risk management really. Sell 10% at least. Try to find some good traders on Twitter as well like TraderSZ and see what they are saying about the macro context. You really have to keep a constant eye on the market during the bull.

Right now though LINK is showing some stength against BTC and ETH so I think as long as BTC doesn't do a huge nuke, LINK will slowly go up. Staking has finally(slowly) set a new narrative where the token is needed. BTC likely bottom is I think $17k. All depends on the macro context. Keep an eye on FOMC meetings as well. If we get a bear market rally, then LINK might hit $15 or so. I suggest taking some profit there for expenses so when BTC nukes, you aren't forced to sell at $4-$5 to cover expenses. Really not much else to do at this point other than hold it. LINK at top 10 rn would mean around $17. Top 5 would be like $30. Just pray we don't have some great depression. The Russia-Ukraine thing needs to find some ending. Global state of affairs is really peak bear rn. Don't expect new ATH this year. Of course the sentiment can switch very quickly, but it would require the FED to stop tightening.

I still believe my alts are undervalued by x5-10 on market relative basis, So i could almost make it to ATH again if the market become more efficient magically

Agreeing with following some top tier CT and taking profits consiveratively. Going forward it will be harder to time. We got V JPM GS running nodes now, ccip staking enterprise layer are game changers although not instant but in the short term and beyond. Enterprises implies we could get news dropped that would print a 200% candle anytime which puts swinging at risk. Once staking is available fewer will sell. Bottom line selling will be harear for those who know.

The only way I could see a major pump on LINK due to some enterprise news is when LINK is already in top 10 with all the other shit like ADA, SOL etc completely rekt so that the main focus in crypto is Chainlink like it was back in 2019. Right now though even staking couldn't pump us above $10. At the end of the day, it's still retail that fomos in. Larger guys slowly buy in which creates a rising support hopefully. I mean Eric Schmidt during peak bull didn't pump LINK at all. The spotlight needs to be on LINK for news to have any major effect.

Except this time if it touches the sats ath (that's a big if), I'll swap for btc and never look back (easier said than done, my natural state is all in link), then wait for the next bull in 2025 and go all in (ICO scams -> dog coins -> onlyfan roasties nft?) the next retarded 30 iq thing and sell the top.
Fuck this gay in it for le tech shit

Yeah I'm definitely gonna try ride some other shitcoins, maybe keep like 50% in LINK. I'll see how staking is working out and the overall token economics etc. Honestly it wasn't even "in it fot the tech" meme, it seemed like LINK was gonna obviously go to $100 minimum due to just the absolute great news it got and the fact it was securing $80bn+, but any major momentum got fucked by btc dumps.
