PS3 only region locked game is persona 4 arena thats it. Only some japanese ps3 games have english on board though so you have to know which ones

I own a lot of DS and GBA pokemon games. The best time to sell them was in 2020 when the lockdown started and the prices of all retro games shot up. But I hope these will be worth more in the next decade when authentic copies get harder to find

Even with 3D remakes, a lot of pokemon fans still feel nostalgic over the original sprite art.

No one is making PS3 -> PS5 ports. The only one coming out is Last of Us Part 1. Emulation will make the prices of disc games go up. Look at what happened with Xbox 360 games. 50 Cent bulletproof went up to 100+ USD when it got Series X support.

I read somewhere that it was impossible to get native emulation support on the ps5? the only emulation possible on the ps5 is via cloud or if they re release the ps3 game as a ps5 game, first party games only then. Emulation via discs like xbox has, will never happen on playstation.

A lot of DS pokemon games are still worth $100+ but the prices aren't as high as they were in 2020. I remember pokemon platinum and bw2 being $200+ in 2020/2021. I'm just counting on copies being harder to find and that there might never be any legal ports of these games in the future.

Also I have a few 3ds handhelds in good condition. The prices are skyrocketing on those things now.
