Who else is all cash right now, losing money through inflation?

I feel silly, I should put this cash into some shit. Where should I put it to park ot for the obvious coming crypto bottom to slurp in 2023?

you dont do anything wrong sitting in cash as long as this cash is the USD. Be ready to jump back in at any time but be patient. No fomo. No fear.

you can wait until next year, or you start accumulating now. It is your risk

I just bought one bitcoin. You can do something like that or slowly accumulate. Don’t buy any altcoins.

I'm 1.2m in cash and I'm almost embarrassed I can't find anywhere to put it that makes sense.
I may be losing through inflation, but asset prices are dropping faster.
I'm putting in an interest account for 3% this week.

That's all I have, my cash, my business and 2.3m in property.

Retards will tell you about how much money you're losing by holding cash while assets continue to gap down 5 percent every few weeks. Don't worry about it. I'm about 70k cash and it doesn't even feel like enough but can't bring myself to sell

yep, 560k in cash, it is horrible, seeing inflation eating it up. I live in Euroland and have at least put it in USD late last year.

unironically hold cash in a savings account is the best position to be in currently
big banks would rather hold short term treasuries than make private loans, do with this information what you will

what this guy said, if you want to try and get cute you can setup a tranche like buy 2y sell 3m. Then you get the difference in interest while still being mostly liquid.
adds a bit of duration risk if you ever want to cash out fully from the 2y side, but chances are if we are going into recession the 2y yield will come down anyway and you can sell at a profit.

I'm into staking with Allianceblock and I am confident inflation would do little to it there due to the AMM in the system.

Don't know what kind of sums you're working with, but I've parked a couple grand in USDC to generate a return. I throw a couple bucks in there every week. Probably pull out when I hit 10k or something.

>> No.49533471

Yeah, I wouldn't dump that much solely into USDC lol. I think a lot of exchanges are tiering their returns anyway so you probably couldn't achieve 10%. Besides something's going to rug pull the stablecoins eventually, all good things come to an end especially in the crypto world. If your time horizon is 5+ years, you might try rental properties to generate a return on whatever your down payment is. That's what I did, but I live in a low COL area where I could eat my mortgage payments for some months if I had to based on cash flow from my job alone, so it depends on if your local market is at some crazy peak or not.

Same here. I have 400k in 3 bank accounts. Im just here thinking "oh im lossing money with inflation I should put it into SOMETHING" but then you look at shit to invest and shit crashes faster than you can lose with inflation so I guess I will end up buying more cheap shit when markets bottom (not anytime soon since shitcoins marketcap is still above 100 trillion)

Do you retards realize you can dump an additional 90% infinite times? this "we 90% from the ATH so we buy now" doesn't work that way

the fact is, the NASDAQ is bubbled, and shitcoins are bubbled, so there's no point in buying
