Just start posting shit to aryion and furaffinity. I have seen basically highschooler crayon-drawings fetch $10 or more commissions there.

make a twitter and follow meme trends to get boosts in exposure. example, when the chris rock and will smith thing went down any artist who drew a fun cross with that and some IP ended up getting a lot of eyeballs

>> No.49525119

I mean damn, I wouldn't do anything for $1. You could at least set yourself up on Fivrr and take art commissions there while you figure out if you want to do this moving forward. Once you're established, definitely move away from using 'market' services that take a cut. I've never used Fiverr but they probably take 30%.

As for advertising, the best way to get noticed is to draw whatever popular flavor of the month shit is out and tag your posts appropriately on twatter/tumblr. Then mention on your profile that you do commissions. I doubt any of the big name artists used advertising agencies. RP forums (either legitimate like Dungeons and Dragons or furry erp) may have sections for artists to advertise since those types love to see their OC shit get made real. But don't solicit if it's not allowed.

ok cool, i know that one... What about some more uh cliche and general? like once the trend blowsaway... and you got no bonus or eyeballs... How to be, technically proficient "enough". Like the uh, anatomy and constructions... other than knowing the number of abs and projecting it to perspective,
What s solid way tofloat on yer own?

yeah, that's the one. It's a relatively well organized and active site of vore fetish people, you can just start making art even if you don't care for the fetish, and if your ideas and art are good, you can fetch very high prices. Of course, you will have to sell a bit of your dignity by making smut of shit you don't enjoy, but you gotta play jew games to make jew money.

i really like this https://quickposes.com/en, sits me on my ass and quickly helps me see how poorly my scale can be.
also give this a look https://drawabox.com/, its what im preparing to use as a technical course, my focus is in web development so art isnt a career for me, just a simple hobby, but if you wanna get good at anything you cant really shortcut and jump around, find a process and stick to it
https://drawabox.com/comic this comic puts it nicely

Sadly if you chase memes/flavor of the month you get fans that really just want those, but that's OK. If you draw some memey shit to get follows and then between the memes post things you want, there is a good chance a few of the memers will enjoy your side-art and become real fans. Don't discount memers, too. They have money. At least use them to fund the art you enjoy. I'm pretty sure most artists work like this, besides madlads like Jackson Pollock.

Also I wouldn't worry too much about things like anatomical correctness. Real "artists" might chide you for it, but your clients want whatever they have in their fantasies. Eight abs, 10ft tall, watermelon-sized tits, etc.

Also, if you want to successfully do an art business and not just commissions (fetish or otherwise) as a hobby, the real money is in owning and managing a studio. What you have to do if you want an art career and not an art side-hustle, is apply to jobs with small animation studios and art studios, work for some for a few years, then figure out how to hire remote artists from places like the Phillipines and Latin America, and do larger productions for commercials, game trailers, music videos, concept art, etc. Like any business-to-business company, you would probably have to do a shitload of cold-calls and build relationships over time to get anywhere.

hmm good idea. whats gunna be this months six digit traffic in your opinion? is there a whole package of that much or do i have to do some X amount of series

how do i figure out the trend and the tactics in general

>>49525179
hmmm... well im not sure how good i am or good do i have ta be, both being original and innovative maybe since there are kinds of people maybe being in my spectrum so i gotta find more wiggle roon maybe? somehow? what u think? much appreciated.

>>49525220
keeping those, looks ok. just your wild guess, if i am to make some fife digit a month/four digit a week with drawabox, how much(of whatever drawabox has) do u think i need to do to get those? just to know how much drawabox' value, i suppose or what the market usually takes from it...?

>>49525251
yes its really hard to do. I did it but generally not always a win and after the wind i cant support myself anymore...
>anatomy
ok cool... what else to know about thse subgenres? How good of polish do the market usually go for? say if i go for 4 digit a week how much of what in specific do i gotta do in a whole week?

>>49525265
these seems rather complicated and advanced but maybe, will keep that in mind but i am not even close to any doors in the industry to knock atm so maybe gotya fix those first...

i dont follow what youre asking, how valuable is what drawbox provides? i would argue pretty valuable, the stuff i linked is all free so you can guage for yourself, and they have a setup where you can get critique from the community to learn better. the value for any resource is whatever you put into it

The successful artists tend to be people who are consistent and engage with their audience. Not many people on the site make posts weekly.

hmmmm, no as in the value of the current market, like stockbroker, trader speculations. Otherwise how do i put some five digit worth value into drawabox? Just so to, uh, "get feedbacks" from the general publics as in the market? add more render? more realism?
thansk

>>49525747
hmmm, that could be true. Though i recall pros engagement on popular sites are...scarce. But yer they do regulars and consistency, but could you maybe measure value so to be, above a certain number? Like important features for the demographic to appeal, just so to manage their expectation with utmost, calculated care or whatnot.

Uh, just look for top artists and up and coming artists. Right now those would be Karbo, Aesir, Tasley9, SeekGr as examples, and Lofis is a new, not very skilled artist who is still getting a very big following.

I am naming fetish artists on aryion, I would be surprised if you knew any of them. At best you can probably make like 60-80k a year if you are like Karbo. Otherwise, expect to make 20k a year or so. Shit wages, but pretty good side hustle.

id have no idea, but odds are it is low such like what >>49526116 said. the artists that make a lot of money usually are the ones who create a hit or have a following of people prepared to spread their work via word of mouth. being visible is important. stuff like drawbox and quickfigure are just ways of improving your craft to make it possible to draw the attention of others to your work

i m looking for six digits actually. Whats my best bet? some producers? art director? fill me up on what u kno

>>49526145
knock yourself out man

>>49526208
yeah i noticed. Well i'm taking that advice of improving the "basics" i guess. How much do i need to do, yada yada. Who said that? anon3? i forgot.
Still, what you say in "make it possible", as in how much is this do i need? Like maybe quantifying "how good should your art be"... like idk, design? concept? matte painting? something else entirely?
thanks

You would either have to be so quick at content creation that you essentially shit out good/decent quality art of all fetish types like you're Alexandre Dumas, possibly under different names, or you have to manage artists working under you.

>how good should your art be
depends really, art is art but being too passionate can lead to perfectionism and hinder your output. my interest in art and animation is kept to a personal level currently, but speaking from experience in coding and developing (which i myself plan to turn into a 6 figure or 7 figure annual income) -the best anwser i can give is 'good enough', keep improving and re-evaluating where you want to be and what you want to be doing - good enough for me, as a developer, is being able to create a minimum viable product and create a service for others to use that grows.
as it grows, i grow too, both as a business owner and a developer. art and anything else that requires significant personal willpower and drive i imagine is similar. just start putting stuff out there even if you arent satisfied with your skill level yet, people love an underdog / ragstoriches, but only if he is going to do it with or without their help. and if youre truely motivated people will intuit that and be gravitated towards wanting to help you and work with you eventually

whats masariro doing anyway

>>49526491
i suppose yer correct and i need to make my reach smaller to like, this week's target... which makes it tense because of the short turnover time... i need some short term tactics than going full leisure on big plans and daydreaming...

>minimum viable
yeah whats this tho... it's abit abstract to my knowledge... different spectrum, different market... very hard to define. hush hush because everyone wants easy money.... mybest general idea seems to involve having a certain tactic buts thas also abit generalized so now it becomes about, defining something worthwhile for my, starting business?

i thought im supposed to be the one giving the service and product... this seems abit of... motivational speech industry.

it just means
minimum: most simple
viable: usuable
"simplest possible form of your business that works" so a service that is still rough around the edges but people still want
>i thought im supposed to be the one giving the service and product
you are, but no one works alone in a sense, if you arent satisfying your customers or viewers, who will be there to give you money or look at your work?

providing a good product will lead to customers who want to help you or see you succeed
