We have a boomer in my family who stays in his 4 bedroom, 2 bath apartment although he can barely get by alone due to age.
He will not sell and simply watch the value of the property go to shit. If that happens I will shit on his grave.

My sister sold her place in feb, made top dollar (shes a gen xer) is trying to decide where to move. In the meantime she is renting a nice house worth 2-3 million, the owner of the house has over 150 homes just for rental and investment. Fucking crazy.
