I'm GenX and every mechanic and electrician in the 10k employees at my industrial company is older than me. A 30 year old electrician will have job security and a premium wage for the next 30 years easy. Mechanic is the same just slightly less high wages as there's less scarcity there.

antidepressants aren't a good idea for a lot of people, but i thought i read that they can help people stave off early dementia. maybe you could try something like that? they're easy as fuck to get at the doctor in recent years.

use your freelance portfolio to get a WFH entry coding job. do your best, but if it's terrible, so is > 50% of the workforce. You can last a long time @ wayyyyyyy higher than $16. If you still feel you are too dumb, apply for Business Analyst (you do 8th grade algebra and use Microsoft Office properly). If you convince them you have 120+ IQ you can do the job w 85 to 90 IQ

Okay, I'll bite this one. TL;DR: your brain fog might not just be COVID related and could be due to your mental health. Start taking supplements like omega-3 oil, Vit D and Coenzyme Q10, clean up your diet and sleep and reduce inflammation as much as possible in your body.

Since the end of last year I've been feeling weaker and weaker wrt my thinking and general brain fog due to feeling depressed and burned out to keep the story short.
About 2 months ago I caught covid (not vaxxed) and although the usual symptoms went away relatively quickly, I had this damn brain fog associated with it.
It just so happened that I've been taking some stuff since the beginning this year (c.f. TL;DR) and I'd say my COVID related brain fog might be gone over all for about month ago... But I still have a general brain fog and impacted thinking due to other circunstances... but I'm feeling a bit sharper, which also due to the fact that I've slightly changed scenery (i.e. recently changes projects in my day job).

Thanks. Yeah ive been doing brain supps i just need money to afford a few more. Doing 20k iu of d3 temporarily to boost my levels before lowering it to 5k. I learned all this nutrition stuff before becoming retarded, its just now hard to remember it sometimes unless another person triggers the idea, which is also a dementia like phenemenon, nothing occurs to me anymore unless someone brings it up
