Thanks for reusing my shitty screencap. But for the last fucking time, staking is not happening at Consensus. There is literally no reason to believe this given the timeframe that they released this announcement. I genuinely don't understand you retards that are huffing hopium out of each other's asses. You should at least be grateful that staking will be implemented this year. With how fucking fat Sergey is these days, it's a miracle the team delivered anything at all. Could be a week from now or 3 months, why does it fucking matter, let them release when it's done without rushing, so everything will be perfectly designed and tested. What's important is we now have a clear road map with details about the rollout, it's all incredibly ambitious and complex so I don't mind being patient. There could be more surprises at the conf, they're now working with infura and just went live on Solana. Sirgay will present the road map and advocates will demo Solana feeds with maybe some announcements about new nodes or who's joining PGP.

Sorry if my words were misleading. I meant "timeframe" as in they released this announcement a few days before Consensus. Is it possible that they typed up this blogpost and kept it in a vault for the last few months? Sure. But it's not a terribly long write-up. If they were going to announce that v0.1 is ready to go, why would they make the blogpost ahead of Consensus? People are free to speculate, but it seems asinine to think that "later in the year" means next week. There's no basis for thinking this, and it just leads to disappointment when it doesn't happen.
