Would you unironically get into metaverse and stuff like that, even with the current condition of the market? There’s no signs of bull run, you can’t be that retarded… Right

If Facebook is betting on it, I hope they will take it to the moon at some point
Afaik they aren't building their own software like Zuckerberg said with their hiring 100k engineers

If they made it like GTA Online with all sorts of cool shit and didn't microtransaction the shit out of it. Second Life and GTA RP server economies are good examples of this. I mention this a lot re the metaverse, but it is going to take a very accessible platform such as GTA for the masses to adopt it. Infrastructure is being laid down by early adopters now, but with names like Elysian (a resting place for heroes in Greek mythology), expect the Black Mirror episode San Junipero to be a thing within 30-40 years. If you are under 40, chances are you have a chance at some form of immortality down the road.

Yes I think metaverse is the "next big thing" but not the current version. We're talking about neural augmentations and technologies that can enhance our perception of the world.
Funnily enough, if you go through Facebook's recent patents, there's ridiculous potential there but I'm not sure they can harness it.
