Because the people doing it know idiots have started figuring it out so they give it as much volatility as humanly possible to liquidate you if you do it. Check the 31k candle that went all the way back to 29k then back to 31. You could short it, provided you have enough money and don't use high leverage, but unless you are using insane amounts of leverage and/or money, you'd be looking at a couple hundred bucks at best when the downside is being liquidated and losing a couple thousand. That's why.
