What is the MINIMUM amount of after taxed money do you need to 'retire'.
Someone said here is $XXX after taxed USA dollars.
What is the SMALLEST amount you need for you to never work again or have to worry about money?

$0, just become homeless

What a retarded question

Depends on where you're retiring to and what kind of lifestyle you want. If you are a resident of the first world and retire to, say, Thailand, and live modestly, you won't need a lot of money to live in comfort without ever worrying about money.

I see why /biz / is filled with insane crypto morons.
Literally all that was asked was a USA dollar amount .

For me $3.5 million.
Put it all in a S&P 500 Index fund, it should grow forever and grow faster than inflation. Pull out 3% a year and it should last forever.
3% of minimum $3.5 million is well over $100K a year

$30 million
