Don't know about that guy, but my personal experience of being involved in whale groups + a few projects (you'd be surprised how far basic Solidity takes you), is that in general people are pretty normal, albeit a bit boring.

The "wildest" thing I've gotten was proposed to do some sexual threesome thing on ETH-Denver, during a party that I decline as I don't really partake on debauchery and drug usage, but honestly nothing out of the ordinary. Other than that I've no really experienced anything, just average edgyness, light racism/sexism, and constand second guessing of "who can be trusted".

Most of crypto is male lonely folk. I live in a very crypto friendly city, and if you go to meet ups its always the same folk, your usual 90% dudes, half of them simping for that 6/10 crypto girl. Idk, to me its always felt like any other tech scene, I guess the one deferentiator is that peak post-covid + mania you had a lot of crypto bros at parties, and a few gold-diggers, but that's about it really.
