>Google median age of MBA students
>every single business school's median age is 28-30
>every single business schools median work experience is 5 years

How badly did I fuck up?

I've got 1 gap year, 3 years teaching, 1 year msc, 1 year teaching/startup, 1.5 years working for a large org + another msc.

I basically have to to spend 4 years to get the phd part time too, so I will be 34 at minimum before I start a part time MBA for 2 years.

Should I try and pass on the phd and go straight to mba...? with virtually no real work experience.

Should I go all out on the PhD?

Why do any of that?

Who cares about those stupid titles?

Just read some MBA stuff online for 1 week and you're good. Better put that time into work or better, start a business

Skip the phd and look for good work experience
Your resume is more important to employers than your degree
I don’t do it but all my successful friends lie about experience and schooling and always get great jobs
It’s more about demeanor and your handshake when you get hired for a job

what field? in some fields, the MBA will be largely superfluous; in others, the Ph.D. will be

PhD is the better degree but MBA doubles your salary. Many MBAs are employer-funded and so demonstrate an employer's confidence in the candidate.

thanks, that's interesting.

But how valuable is an MBA if you change employer from the one that funded it...

my second masters is during full time employment and Im doing it now

resume more important
The first sections in the resume are education

most jobs I want request a phd but I doubt most of them filter for it

You're right. That 37 y.o. has a more extensive network with upper management in that field. He can command a higher salary than a freshfaced MBA grad with limited or no work experience

Just go work at McDonald's and put it all in BTC/XMR. You'll be earning 7 figures when you get out of that faggy MBA but one happy meal will cost you like 576 bucks.
