Government probably won't be effected. 2008 never saw a layoff off of gov workers. Private industry takes the hit durring a recession. Gov may slow hiring but won't lay people off.

Not necessarily. If the economy is controlled they need some to go along with the narrative to mske it happen. Smart money can plan for the narrative and profit from it. If this recession is planned for they need the plebs to go in as it was happening to make hapoen in a plausable manner. The market could definitely go a lot lower and should to maximize profits on the way back up.

Fair enough, they need to put the squeeze on normies so they have to sell their investments. Probably will get a little worse over the next 6 - 12 months before the recovery sets in.

>> No.49380903

>>49380643
Trying to time the bottom perfectly probably not possible I guess. You may be right in buying now could be as good a time as any. If it bottoms further and recovers a buyer may only be down for a short while and already in when the market goes back up. Maybe the question is how soon is the recession gonna end once its in full swing. If it happens quickly buying into the dip too soon will work out ok. If it doesn't recover quickly it could be some time before see profit again.

You know, when you look at the crypto world, everyone and their grandma expect btc to crash sub $25k. Yet it's not happening. The current support seems literally unbreakable.

So now I do wonder if the right type of play isn't to literally market buy at the current price and wait the 10 days before the FED announcement (which should already be priced in because we know what he will say).

All of you should kill yourselves. Your life has no purpose. You are disposable as a man. If you are not rich you are worthless. You exist to work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work. When you are not working you are worthless. When you are not working you will be starved. When you cannot work anymore you will die, and your grandchildren will feel more sad about grandma dying than you.

Silicon Valley was the worst fucking thing to happen to that field and I for one am all for those clowns getting canned so we can actually get some proper development going on and not just another retarded useless flavor of the week app.

Also this, the fed sort of learned after 2008 and are basically doing what Putin is doing in Russia, that is downplaying everything and grappling markets to slow the decline as much as possible so people don’t freak the fuck out and make 2020 look like a joke. People are a lot more angry today than they were 14 years ago, and if a Fentanyl addict not sneeding was enough to have mass riots across the West Coast and certain other places then they would go full Mad Max tier if a 2008 level recession suddenly hit tomorrow morning. They’re trying to slowly bring the pot to a boil instead of cranking it to the highest setting.

There's no need for layoffs or any conventional recession indicators. Why? They've just made your dollar worth less. Most people will not understand this and therefore the people responsible will never be blamed.

or more realistically, you could use the pic I posted there, which is the real expansion to the money supply. Some of that injected cash is still hoarded by the elite for when the recession does hit, to buy more and thus inflate more

I predict an inflation recession. The FED will cut rates but inflation will only increase. Most notably in housing market, crypto and hard assets.

>housing market, crypto and hard assets are currently maxed
>they are going to go higher though
Doubt. Maybe in the short term. But already they are beyond the average family income budget. Even with a rate cut (which is also doubtful any time soon) housing and hard assets can't continue to increase. Shitcoin is going no where but down indefinitely for the foreseeable future. At best it is a novelty item that only makes sense to "play" with during the good times.
