Faggots since many of you shill monero this is what i found once opened datamish:

Percent longs and shorts
>79.94% Short
>20.06% long

Longs & USD interest rate
>0.044%
>1'351 xmr Longs

Shorts & XMR interest rate
>0.0%
>5'385 XMR short

0 interest to borrow the most shorted coin in the whole crypto industry. Can somebody explain to me how is it sustainable ? IMO this is not. Maybe you guys are right about the attack against monero... many won't be able to withdraw shit. This is just my opinion.

Good find, all we have to do is buy on a dex or buy and withdraw all together.
Xmr had violent upwards movements this year

you won't cause a shortage when buying on dex... CEX + withdraw might work but i wouldn't bet on that

Exchanges are shorting all they can, then market sell the monero remaining in their reserves while increasing longs interest rates and giving shorters the opporunity to short for free (if you borrow one asset you should be paying), while exchanges like binance are increasing the monero stacking APY (here is where CEXs are borrowing XMR).
Celsius is doing the exact same thing with other erc20...
c'mon anons where are the spergs ?

Is this hard to understand ? if yes i'll try to explain better

>> No.49375493

CEX Lower the interest rates on long
Retail longs
Price up
CEX scale in short position with perp (long interest still low)
CEX pump the interest rates for long
People rush to close long
Price down
Twap is selling with users funds
Price crab lower
CEX scale in spot long to rebalance Twap strategy reserves
CEX Lower the interest rates on long
>The cycle repeat

While this is how they are keeping monero down with minimal reserves allowing them to not being exposed.
Price pumps,

Twap selling,
price dumps,
