There are only 500k people in the world who own 1 Bitcoin. You just need 1 BTC to actually make it as it will eventually become akin to generational wealth

you should really do some more research into Bitcoin man I used to have this view too but I was pleasantly surprised. The way it's constructed means it has got a super unique role in our global financial system that isn't just going to die away, it's truly unique! I know it's hard to wrap your head around some magic internet money having value but it's blindingly true if you read and think about it.

It's not unique in the sense that i can deploy a token on ethereum matching btc's properties in 5 minutes.

What's going to happen to btc when the mining rewards reduce so low that's it's no longer profitable to mine?

Butcoin is a ponzi scheme. New money must enter to reward first holders. New money must enter to pay the electrical bills of the miners. Miners must sell or borrow against their mined BTC to keep the lights on. Miners must run at all times to keep the integrity of the block chain. Miners almost always borrow vs their bitcoin adding way more risk.
Its a huge house of cards and ponzi scheme that will collapse spectacularly at some point.

I asked a fat woman to make me whatever she would drink at Starbucks and she made this. Absolutely horrid. It was like drinking straight out of the syrup bottle.

It was then that I realized fat people are a different species. Their consumption of sugar has mutated them into another creature that is incompatible with normal life

While it sure seems intuitive to look at btc like a ponzi or a sham it takes a nuanced understanding of finance and economics to see where it's value comes from - its unique properties! Hardly an efficient means of exchange but a store of value tailored to perform under specific economic conditions like no other asset could! Only once you develop a mature understanding of economics will you see that you are both dumb niggers!

>> No.49325491

The actual answer to your question is that as block rewards approach zero, miners will have to source more and eventually all of their revenue from transaction fees. Presumably, users will need to pay more than they currently do to maintain the same network speed and security.

Bitcoin was not, is not, and should never have been considered an 'investment', it is an alternate currency.
