that's part of it, I did Doordash quite a bit in 2018 and also again in 2021, now I actually work for Doordash corporate as a full time employee. It was kind of eye opening for me. I figured most of the customers would be people in upper middle class neighborhoods who had expendable income, but 9 times out of 10 it was crappy neighborhoods where most of the deliveries were.

That being said, middle/upper class people tend to tip okay, but consistently. Poor people either don't tip at all or they tip a lot. It's just an interesting dynamic to be aware of

If anything is suspicious I immediately confront them and not only demand a refund, but also threaten their jobs or even their life. I’ve sent one away in tears and the rest were visibly shaken.
