I will sue the govt for an amount equal to the average or max debt forgiven. I made smart choices, worked while in college so my employer could pay my tuition, and paid the difference in cash. I opted for more affordable options to stretch out my tuition benefits. While these morons got an arts or communications degree while fucking off and partying every night. Not gonna fly.

I have skin in the game and this would basically make me debt free, but clearly doesn't solve anything. What about future borrowers? It doesn't solve shit. Funny how the universities themselves never take the blame it's always about debt forgiveness rather than cutting the cost of tuition. You go into debt so that the colleges can pay for their sports programs and the millions that get spent on diversity projects and woke studies. Universities wont take the blame because the people arguing for debt forgiveness knows that going in that direction actually pins root sources of costs back on the students and public when taken to its logical conclusion. The students/public themselves are asking for a shitload of "services", diversity/gender initiatives, larger admitted class sizes, lower academic standards for entry, to study under tenured professors for 101 courses, more parking, electric charge stations, ass backwards deals with McWagies to get fast food in the dining halls, ass backwards deals with Vegan food vendors to get vegan food in the dining halls, housing where students can use and bring in modern appliances and tech without consideration of utility bills, women's sports, etc.
Granted, a lot of kids dont use all of that shit, but they also dont understand exactly what they are asking for when they campaign or protest for these things because they think its all just mana falling from the heavens.

The only thing at most schools that justifies expansion from a debt:income perspective is STEM and men's athletics (and with men's athletics its usually limited to the Basketball and Football team). Business schools can also be considered as well as long as there is a history of wealthy families donating back and we count those donations toward income.

Also the services and diversity initiatives are coming from the top down instead from down up.
Management has increasingly positioned itself in these Universities and colleges. As a teacher, if you don't comply with management you are out. Students see these pamphlets and mails where management is telling them about these services and diversity initiatives which in return gives students a reason to speak out when something in class is not to their liking. This get to management and they will then make the teacher comply or he's out.
Being a teacher sucks but in the past at least it was fun. Now it just sucks.
