Pre market is red because of earning reports. The shareholder meeting takes places and the authorization to increase the number of shares is given. This causes the stock to drop even more as the market prices in the anticipation of the 1:13 stock split. Note that the split doesn't happen then.

Because raising the number of shares to 1B would only allow a 1:12 ratio, but they decided to raise it to 1.005B. It's a bit too suspicious.

I own both so no hate for GME but its more people in AMC. The scandinavian brokers show that theres about 40% more people invested in AMC. According to fintel AMC is the most held stock by retail. AMC is waaay bigger on both twitter and Youtube. GME is bigger on reddit but thats it. SS is basically the only place for GME and thats why it has become an echochamber.

They dont seem to understand that AMC became the stock for everybody, the peoples stock. GME is huge in the gaming culture, mostly young men. In AMC its a bigger diveristy of people.
