Dotcom bubble is a fucking dumb comparison anyway. The dotcom bubble encompassed a massive amount of, innovative, emerging technologies, many of which are flourishing today.

66% of the crypto market cap is in one thing, BTC, which is a bloated piece of redundant tech that will be irrelevant in a year or two.

I remember the dotcom bubble. I still don't get why people thought it was okay to charge advertisers $20 per click. Why did advertisers keep paying $20 per impression? The site would be selling something worth $100 and they knew not everyone buys when they visit the page. It baffles me whenever I think about it
