Goes by 'WhalePanda' on bitcointalk forums and twitter (@WhalePanda)-

Already accumulated around 600 million PND buying at 3 sat on mintpal, claims to be buying more and prices will be higher when mintpal has zero trading fees. Looks like he'll be faking volume during that time.

amDOGE, what do you think about the long-term viability of bitcoin alternatives? I personally will not touch PND, and I have my doubts about the future of dogecoin. Bitcoin is far too valuable and distributed at this point to be a fad, but aside from a handful of coins I can't imagine any less than 99% of all cryptocurrencies dumping or failing within three to five years.

I've gotten burned so many times that I've given up on trying to time pump and dumps. When you buy into a shitcoin with the intent of dumping you are begging to lose your money. I'm strictly going long from now on.

I invest cryptos for a living. I work for 41 people at the moment.

If the game is PND, send me whatever you'd like to have worked with (and send your return wallet address as well) and by next Saturday (if not sooner) I'll send back 1.5x whatever you send to this address:

PQ92Rmjgqg2n4Jp4H7yDPTKcnsm4rsHgiY

Obviously there is no fee that I charge. The best thing about working as a cryptocurrency broker is that I promise a return of 1.5x, and just keep anything that I make that is over the 150% return that I give to my clients. Just make SURE you send me the address to send the coin back to; otherwise I'll get 10 different people in a PND thread claiming to be you.

Obviously this offer goes for anyone else interested as well. Peace.

Open your PND wallet and click on the account you're sending FROM. Open your Mintpal tab that says "balances" and next to PND drop the menu down and click "Deposit". It'll give you your MintPal address for PND.

In your wallet, go to Transactions and paste your MP address and type in the amount to send, and that's it.

If it's synced, look at the bottom of the window to make sure there is no progress bar. If you're good, close and re-open and try again. If it still won't let you send, make sure that the address you put to send to is in fact 100% accurate and not off by 1 character or anything. You can't send to an address that doesn't exist.

Not that guy, and I don't completely disagree with your stability judgment. However, a coins value in terms of centage means nothing if you don't take into account the total # of coins in existence. It would be possible for a coin to have a higher market cap than BTC while holding a lower price, so saying a coin is "only a fraction of a cent" means nothing. The same is true for real world currencies.

A yen is worth a fraction of a dollar, but people still trade currencies for yen. Why? It's because they're exchanging multiple yen for a single dollar, and they expect the relative price of yen in USD to increase.

A better argument would be to say that PND still has a wide variance in its day to day market cap- therefore it's unstable in comparison with BTC's market variance.

THIS COIN WAS DESIGNED TO BE LOW PRICE

This coin is aimed at the mass market and people dont like to trade in 0.00003454 of a bitcoin

This coin was never meant to sell for crazy dosh on a per coin basis. It is an attempt to create a real currency- one of the reasons why it is so easy to understand is that you can deal with whole coins without worrying about satoshis and μBTC which confuse regular people

This is not a flaw this is a strength

it's called arbitrage and you're not. it just not as easy as you think. first you need to deposit money which takes 2-3 business days to get it on btc-e, then you need get it on bitstamp and withdraw, another 2-3 days, so lets say in an ideal situation you can get 1 cycle done in a week.
Lets say you work with 10 btc (4000 dollars). the spread is 15-20 dollars so in theory your profit is 150-200 dollars per week, if you deduct 2 times 2% fee (which is not crazy) that's 160 dollars so you're Lucky if you're breakeven.

Yeah I get that vibe aswell

I do really believe in the coin though

I suppose its finding a middle ground between pointing out the benefits of PND and not sounding like we are trying to sell it

>> No.492053

I just heard on IRC some big players from China are getting ready to invest heavily (50BTC+) into PND.

How much pnd do you have? what is a reasonable amount to invest?

>> No.492254

>>492247
as with any investment: invest only as much as you can afford to lose.
for someone 20 dollars is much, for other 1000 dollars isnt..
I have invest a few 100 dollars, already worth more than 1000 now.
check the website, see if you like it, and if you do you can buy it at mitpal or on buypnd.com

to add to this you have to estimate what you think the coin could be worth in a couple of weeks/months/years
say the coin doubles in value in the next month; then investing $100 will get you $200 (in theory)
but $1000 will get you $2000 so in reallity its
>what you can afford to invest
>AND
>what you predict the coin will be worth
>VS
>the risk
