Word on the street is that the main net launched much earlier than expected. There was a rumor the main net was being released at the end of December and two days later the test net went live.

It's looking like Link will take off much earlier than expected because they said no partnership announcements until the network was live.

Note that Sergey was also going to make a good news announcement before the end of the year. That combined with the main net rumor means it's likely that news is quite big.

Im not familiar with icon or wan but chainlink will allow you to use as many Oracle's as you want to send tamperproif information to and from the blockchain. Using more than one Oracle makes it so that even if 1 is hacked no information can be altered unless every Oracle is hacked which would never happen.
