I use desktop software called WinAuth, I don't use Bittrex so I can't confirm 100% it's compatible with that but it should be, it works with Binance and other shit.

Just make sure you do a backup (Export) of your WinAuth profile and keep it on a USB stick or something, because once 2FA is enabled, if the device (in this case your desktop) has a problem, you won't be able to get in without begging support.
