The bitcoin transaction problem has been solved on a technical level by Core and LTC.
Yet cuz they are who they are could not even explain it.

They all failed.
Now that the smoke has cleared people are seeing what is really going on.
BTC/LTC have solved the problems. They are the future forward.

BTC is not going to lock up anytime soon
segwit alone has already elevated transaction problems and as wallets exchanges etc finally fully implement it transactions will be quicker and cheaper.
Heck Dragon slayer was a full on active (and I add malicious) attempt to lock the bitcoin blockchain and failed.
The exact date is unimportant in the near and mid terms.

Point is the solution is there.
It works
and it is coming to solve the hypothetic long term problems that BTC undeniably had.
