Welcome all.

We are still in the giveaway stage pre-exchange. 100% PoS, 100 million max supply with a current supply of 8 million and many projects underway there is plenty of room aboard.

To get started download the wallet-qt:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/gb6ofwpj2cc7gk8/release.zip

Then you need a .conf file to sync correctly. So go to:

C:\Users\Your_UserNAME\AppData\Roaming\bizcoin

Create new text file with:

server=1
listen=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=q
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=3333
port=3334
addnode=107.170.100.51:3334

When you save this text file choose all file types and save as bizcoin.conf
You must make sure it's not a .txt.

Once you are able tweet bittrex @bittrexexchange #bizcoin and post your address ITT you will receive 250 bizcoins.
Vote on http://coins-e.com/voting/#

You can check the faucet at www.bizdice.com every 24 hours to receive 100 BIZ to test your luck with free.

super neato centralized scamcoin bro.

Central authorities public key: https://github.com/bizcointeam/bizcoin/blob/master/src/checkpoints.cpp#L350

The central authority can mark blocks invalid meaning they can
A) Make it so you can't spend your coins
B) Easily doublespend
C) Ban payments to certain groups

Yeah... that's discussing a master public key for generating a deterministic address. Why would your program have a hard-coded master public key for address generation? That would mean everyone would be generating the same addresses.

It is in checkpoints.cpp because it is for forcing centralized checkpoints.

>>436029

I should add that it even says in the comment:

// bizcoin: sync-checkpoint master key

it is for for clients to accept forced checkpoints.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you have no idea how cryptocurrencies work instead of assuming that you are trying to trick everyone into thinking that the variable named CSyncCheckpoint::strMasterPubKey is for BIP32 deterministic address generation (which is absolutely stupid, bip32 deterministic wallets involve generating your own private key from randomness... you know, so people can't steal your coins... and not from some hardcoded value) and rather than being used for forced checkpoint syncing as the variable name, the source file name, and the code design says it does.

This is a clone coin that has the quantum coin creator as a central authority. Did you even read what I wrote? The masterpubkey in checkpoints.cpp has nothing to do with deterministic addresses. Your client doesn't even have deterministic address capabilities. It is for letting a central authority force checkpoints.

The only safe way to fix this is to switch to PoW.

Lol, it isn't FUD, we are explaining why your currency is 100% controlled by some central authority *and you don't even know who he is*.

Because of your lack of understanding, you think this has something to do with BIP32 addresses (the ones in Electrum) just because the phrase "MasterPubKey" is there.

Your client doesn't have BIP32 in it, you clearly have no idea what is going on in your cryptocurrency, which has led to some random guy being the central authority controlling your cryptocurrency.

we're past the part of mining. So you get coins now from interest,by simply holding them in your wallet.

but it sounds like we're going back to the mining stage.

This coin is playing out like a slapstick comedy. You've got a PoS system controlled by a person so unknown, not even he knows who he is. The coin has went from PoW to PoS and back again before its even hit an exchange. Then you've got that other hilarious guy who keeps spamming both this thread and that other guy's (who clearly wants nothing to do with any of this) on Bitcointalk in broken English because "he's an imposter" despite the fact that his coin is, you know, actually doing something.

Why won't the creator of Bitcoin improve his coin?

Doge coin has the right idea with the two different clients.

Not everyone needs a client so that they can transfer 10000 bitcoin at once,for daily transactions. Bit coin needs to have ultra quick transactions,if it wants to become a a currency instead of a speculative product.
