Guy in my class was saying that you can put the job posting in a cover letter by making it super small white font, so it's not visible, but will get you past the screening algorithm.

What do you guys think? Will it work in pdf or docx formats? Obviously, if I'm not qualified for the position I'll fail the interview, but otherwise it sounds like a good idea.

Why would the screening algorithm filter CVs that don't include the position?
If such algorithms really are used, they'd probably scan for skills in the "required skills" list
