What are the official /biz/-approved sunglasses?

On RayBans vs Oakleys I think that we can safely say Oakleys are better given their lab-tested scratch resistance, durability, and glare-filtering being far superior to RayBans.

Personally I really like the Oakley Gascans but I am well on my way to getting a FT petroleum engineering job within 6 months so maybe I should get the Oil Rigs? They're pretty cool in their own right.

Also, black, emerald or bronze lenses? I'm leaning towards bronze or emerald.
Opinions on that?

What shades do you guys wear?

Ray Bans. I accidentally closed my car door on my Ray Bans. They were all bent up, but not a scratch to the lens. Bent them back into shape and it's like it never happened. No broken metal, either.

Ray Bans if you're a man

Oakleys if you're a gym teacher

Rayban Wayfarers are the best. Had a pair for years and have done great. Thinking about buying a second pair.

Anyone buy stock in Luxottica? This company seems to own everything relating to eye wear.

The cheap ones I buy with my reward dollars from Van Heusen. I wouldn't spend over $10 on something that I'll likely lose or break.

I bought a pair of Oakley Gascans. Matte black frame, black polarized lenses, and gunmetal icons. I wear them when I go fishing or I'll be spending a long time outside and there may be a lot of glare.

My second pair is a $10 pair of polarized reflective aviators I got on ebay that I wear when I drive or I go just around doing things.
