Yes, I ORIGINALLY bought a whole bunch ~20k area, sold it all ~70k, then re-bought in a good amount at ~50k, and have been holding ever since. However, with the "news" of the day, I decided to buy more just now as it's been hovering 40k-45k for awhile.

The best moves I could've possibly made would've been to not have re-bought in until it dropped to ~38k, but obviously that would've been pure amazing luck to know that the previous 50k floor after the boom wasn't actually the floor. It really is just weirdly good luck today. Typically after I research a coin and decide to buy, I have to wait 24 hours at the very least before they really take off.

Today, however, I bought MIN at ~3k seconds before it shot to the moon island of 7k, and now I grab AERO at 1.7k and 2 seconds later it's 2.5k.

Don't mine bitcoin. I wouldn't really suggest mining anything at all. It's much easier to buy crypto for cash and trade it (especially if you're in it for sweet, sweet profit). Mining is very, very hard to get a return on by comparison.

If you want to get into cryptocurrency, I would suggest first opening account on coinbase (if you're in the US) or a similar site if you're in another country. After confirming your bank account, buy some bitcoin. From there you might be able to get some trading advice here (whether it's good or bad is anyone's guess).

Definitely not at first, but you learn to have it over time.

Holding onto a bag once it goes up past the +10% profit point in the hope of selling it at the +500% profit point becomes a pretty ridiculous idea once you've had a few bags dance around the +20% mark before forcing you to sell after dropping to -75% the next morning.

You never have the "oh god why didn't I sell it when I was in the black" feels when you realize that no matter what happens, profit = profit, and any profit at all is better than no profit at all.

The chances of your investments - any and all across the board - giving you a +15% return are always profoundly greater than the chances of them giving you a +500% return. Play the odds in realistic standards and while you may not strike gold right off the bat, you'll essentially eliminate any tangible chance of going broke.

Bought a bunch at 2.3, setting sells orders for 35% of it and 15% of it at 2.9 and 3.1, respectively.

Then holding the rest throughout the week, as I don't feel like it's near it's max potential as of yet. The pre-mintpal add pump may see me sell the rest off if the pump is noticeably big, but if it isn't very big at all I'll most likely keep holding and then buy in even more once the inevitable just-got-added-to-mintpal dump takes place.
