well its based on the amount you hold out of the total supply I think, so 1000/200,000,000 means you'd get 0.000005% of the total dividends paid out, and the dividends paid out are based on the COSS.IO exchange volume (of all coins traded ON that exchange)

So with 1000 COSS and current volume you'd probably get like $0.05 worth or some shit, you'd have to figure it out. As volume goes up tho the dividend amount goes up, and they're planning to implement real world merchant payment options which we'll get paid dividends from as well.

Double-edged sword, the more successful the COSS exchange is, the more dividends paid, and the more valuable COSS coin becomes. Buy a lot now and potentially gain a shitload of profit in the long run.

The dividends payed out to coss holders is for ALL revenue the site will make, including merchant sales and other financial services they plan to implement. What if it becomes like etsy/xapo/kickstarter + a successful shitcoin exchange. How much do you think it will generate? >And let’s not forget we are still very early in the cryptocurrency bull market, and it is certainly a sound bet to say that total trading volumes for all cryptocurrencies will increase in the months and years ahead. The average 24 hour trading volume of all cryptocurrencies today is $4.5 billion, and when that number doubles or triples, all the exchanges will win, especially COSS token holders.
>In summary, I think COSS is the best investment of October 2017, because of both the opportunity and that the token value is tied to something you can easily measure daily. The COSS token value is tied to the daily trading volume, something you can check in a click on coinmarketcap.com. You can look at the trading volume every single day, and if after a week or a month you feel like the growth is not to your liking, or the fee split allocation is too little, you can just sell your tokens. Compare that to a stock where you have to wait until end of of the quarter for an earnings report, or compare it to the 99% of other cryptos whose value is tied to some utility for a product that isn’t even in use yet, this certainly seems like a top 1% investment idea in terms of risk and reward.

I think the FOMO is going to really light a fire under this coin. Once they get the payout straightened out and can concentrate on the exchange again, it's gonna drag a lot more volume in. They already have plans with some upcoming ICOs that they're not widely advertising. Just one or two good ones will pull people in like crazy. Substratum was a good start but sadly they didn't keep the momentum, turning to the dividends instead. I would have waited a couple more weeks for the payouts if they were still adding coins.

Absolutely. This isn't a coin where we'll see $1+ tomorrow but we could in a month or two pretty easily. It just takes a little bit of positive news and this one will moon. So much potential.

Plus if they run their exchange right, improve it, make it nicer to look at, list new coins first straight off ED before any other exchanges do, they can definitely get some attention and traffic. Hopefully the COSS team knows what they're doing and gets this engine running smooth
