i've been trading for 4 years and i could say that the guaranted monthly 10% could be destroyed so fast when one of those cuts their dividends just a little. Im just letting you know from experience, i tried the dividend thing the first stock i ever owned was ORC because of the divdend, i also owned CEFL and MORL and others but the returns aren't there like you would think. Fund managers and other divi hunters buy those when they are low and all seem to dump at the same time.

My strategy consist of buying stocks at that are currently in a tug-of-war with bears and bulls. I watch for entry and put sell limit at 100% gain when the stock gets over 20% i start looking to sell. i cut my losses if that one stock hits a loss of 1% of my total portfolio. The last stock that did me good was MNKD i was in at 1.30 and traded in and out about 6 times. The strategy is all about

In all seriousness, while I don't really hold long term stuff, two stocks I've been coming back to on and off are ARNC and OKTA.

ARNC manufacturers metals, aluminum, titanium, etc. I could see them being $35+ in a few months. We're always going to need that shit. Earnings are next monday too.

OKTA is a cloud security company that does website sign in/authentication security. I feel like they will hit $40+ in the long run because companies are going to be upgrading security on all fronts after the Equifax hacks and Experian another credit agency is one of their clients. They had a bit of a dip over the past few days because of their CEO/COO selling over $1mill of shares/options but I think that's due to their IPO lockout expiring recently.
