I'm new to this. Is swing trading the way to go in crypto? Like hold a coin for 1-2 weeks (unless it moons the day after you buy and you would sell at what you think to be ATH)

unless you have some reason to think a coin will do nothing but go up and become the next BTC/ETH you should never hold during a massive downtrend, its almost always better to sell and either move on to something else or rebuy in later if you think it has new ATH potential in the future.

Don't get emotionally attached to any of your investments or coins, they aren't your babies, there's a hundred different coins to make solid profit in, staying in a sinking one is nonsensical when you have other options.

I made that mistake myself when I first started trading crypto, especially on shit I bought cheap. I'd buy something for 1000sat, see it go upto 15k sat, I'm up 15x, then it comes rapidly crashing down, 13k, 11k, 9k all the while I'm saying "I'm still way up! it'll find support! i'll hang on!" 7k, 6k, 4k "ok i better sell now" it's not a great feeling especially considering I could have just sold at first sign of trouble (say 13k in this case) and rebought at 4k if I really wanted back in

I'd sell, most of the upcoming exciting stuff is already factored into the price. Unless they get listed on an actual huge exchange then it's gonna stagnate in the short term

best advice. Really. If its not BTC or Eth, or a coin you think will do similar, move in and out. Its easy to see the cycle these coins get on. Not that you'll win every time, and it only takes one time for it to crash through that "sure" bottom, but work according to this gentleman's fine advice.

Why in the name of fuck would you sell on a downtrend when their own blockchain should be out later this month? The next 4 days should be quiet, but after that, one single tweet might send it to space.
