Hey /biz/

During his life, my father was a very wealthy investor and over his life had acquired about 47 Million dollars, which is to be split between me and my sister, which means I will have roughly 23.5M USD. Since my father was always out of town and never had time for us other than money for food/clothes, he never taught me anything nor showed me how to keep that money and potentially use it to make more.

Do you have any advice?
(Side notes: I already have a house, car, and anything I will need to live life. I have no desire to buy anything other than a proper gaming computer, which will not cost much.)

Honestly, you're set with what you have, do you really think you'll need more then this? If you really feel compelled to make more with it, just use some for playing around the stock market or cryptocurrency~

On a side note, I do insist you buy some PNDcoin, not all of it, just some to push our marketcap up as it wouldn't take much and enable the developers to do some good~

You can donate what you bought to charities/faucets we have set up or keep it if you want to see something with potential grow your investment.

Help change someone like me's life with just a few thousand dollars. Back in February I was arrested at my college for the first time (possession of less than a gram of marijuana) and life is generally been shit since then. Have already gotten hired at a respectable job (HEB) TWICE since them and both times have lost my job almost immediately due to my background check fucking me over. Also I'm 19 and I haven't told my parents about what happened, I payed for my lawyer with a mix of borrowed and saved money. Now I'm having to drop out of my university for a year and live at home attending a community college and working. A few thousand dollars would really have a hugely positive impact on my life: I could pay back the money I borrowed, and in August I can pay for my expunction to finally have a clean background again. My total expenses related to this are ~$300 borrowed from a close friend, ~$400 taken from an account which I manage but is my moms money ( I was able to turn her $600 into $900 with a stock trade, the best I've ever done) the rest from my personal savings ( which now are around $200, which sucks because just today I found out I'm going to need $360 to get new brakes on my car), plus $700 I will need to pay for my expunction in August(6 months from my arrest). Well anyway, thanks for at least taking the time to read this and consider it!! You could shoot me some money on PayPal if you wanted to. Ill pay you back in a couple years when I'm established with a nice job if you like. Also let me know if you'd like my phone number or email address to talk some more.

With that kind of money, you should probably look into constructing something akin to a Permanent Portfolio. The idea of the PP is not to maximize gains so much as it is to ensure that you stay rich in any sort of economic environment. If you want, set aside $3.5mln or some small portion of your wealth to try to make really good gains.

Look up books by Harry Browne who I believe invented the idea of the Permanent Portfolio. The general idea is you put 25% into stocks, 25% into bonds, 25% into real estate/commodities, and 25% in cash. In a highly inflationary scenario, the stocks and real estate/commodities keep your wealth from vaporizing. In a deflationary environment, the cash and bonds will do great. In a good economic environment, all assets will provide you with some gains.

I don't see why OP wouldn't give some of us here some money. I would honestly do anything for £5k. It isn't like that is a lot to the guy anyway, considering he is in for a hella lot. People with the money OP will have spend that much on one bottle of wine.

OP I am begging a little (alike to many in this thread). But I am only doing so because the amount I would want would be pocket change to you.

As for investment advice I would put it all in a low risk fund and live off of the interest. It would be easy enough. Or you could become an angel investor and help get promising new businesses off of the ground. Alternatively you could start your own business doing anything you wanted and become a big player in your niche. You could even just buy a hefty share of an existing company.

Basically OP the world is your oyster. Money is power in today's society; lucky you.
