>Ethereum stalwarts Digix Global and OmiseGO are backing the newly-established GB Blockchain Labs
This story is about GB Blockchain. Digix and OMG are backing GBBL.

>As a venture capital operation, GBBL will continue to back blockchain startups through financing.
>Kai Cheng Chng, CEO & Founder of Digix and Jun Hasegawa, CEO & Founder of Omise and OmiseGO will be joining the advisory board of GBBL.
To me this says that OMG is investing in this company. They don't get board positions if they're taking money.

>the company looks to support blockchain startups from equity finance to ICO in order to pursue and create a hybrid financing structure for the startup's growth.

I think this can only mean good things for OMG, but you're reading the direction wrong. OMG and Digix are backing this new funding enterprise, not the other way around.

What platform do you think the ICOs will be hosted on?

Japanese and possibly Korean exchanges I would assume. They're the new kings of the crypto market at the moment. US exchanges haven't added anything in over a month now.

Sorry, misread, low on coffee. Yes, it looks like OMG is positioning itself to be the next ETH. I assume you'll be able to buy into these ICOs with OMG.
