XMR general. This is literally the only coin I use to make purchases. Feels nice holding and getting a discount everytime I use it.

curious as to how ethereum adding native zksnarks and ring signatures will affect it. everyone says private tokens on a public blockchain is bad, which it is illustrated by dash/zcash/zcoin/pivx and so on, but given the size and number of transactions in ethereum a token that is essentially a monero or private-only version of zcash sounds interesting, and with enough transaction volume and the ability to call off-chain contract calls ethereum might end up hosting the largest volume privacy coin, that's if bitcoin can't get confidential transactions working first.

cont

a properly designed privacy token on ethereum wouldn't be linked to any public addresses, so all you would need would be a way to send a call to a transaction, and there could be services that send these calls for you, and due to the way the privacy works, it doesnt matter what address is sending the contract call, because its completely opaque and nobody can see if its moving tokens and to where.

and then all it takes is a service to set up that simply accepts these tokens, probably at the exchange rate of 1 ETZ = 1 ETH, and you've basically closed the loop, something that can't be said for any privacy coin out there except for monero.

How do you all feel about the privacy fudders, that you can guess the real transactions

Transparent blockchain means it will never be private by default. Simple as that.

it's the best we have right now. think about it this way, even if monero hasn't fixed this in dev it wouldn't hold up in a court of law.
