Ark primary trading pair is BTC, so most people are currently using it as a safe haven for their BTC investment as it's the only green crypto with sufficient volume during this dip.

I don't think Chinese mining is going anywhere, but Chinese trading of crypto is fucking rekt, so we're likely going to see a general downtrend of BTC-fiat pairs for the near future (like, end of 2017 near future), as China makes up easily 10% of the trading market.

Long term, I see Ark gaining top-10 status, and may even find Ark-fiat pairs by the end of 2018, which would put it on par with Eth (assuming sidechains are released by then).

Then, then we'll start to see the market explode. Like, fuck, with sidechains and all the various languages the Ark API supports for coding, literally anyone could create their own fucking coin, and realize the benefits of that, within days or weeks, as opposed to months for Eth (since you need to know solidity like, really fucking well, in order to not lose all your fucking money when attempting to set up your own token).

I always loved that story for the moral aspect. Giving her all to something she believes in, humbly without making a big deal of it. Expecting only good faith in return.
It was actually a very fair trade of her poor assets for favour with the church. A social blessing, if you will. But she did not see it as a trade of value at all.
Didn't pay much attention to the actual biblical story itself as written, or the translations. Kids don't generally care about those things. So I should reread it.

But anyway, I did have one large problem with it. Churches ignored the message itself, and only ever used it to coax more tithe money out of their followers.
Crowd funding the church's budget is fine, totally understandable. There are expenses to be paid, what with child care, utilities, etc.
But that guilt culture that's so prevalent in religion used for such a greedy purpose on its own people.
Christian in-group guilty greed is almost as nauseating as Jewish out-group malice.

Either way, it's been said that the love of money is the root of all evil.
Remember that no matter how much you have, or how much you need, it is only a means to an end. An asset for functional security, a tool of trade, a proof of work, etc. Or even the most fitting use to the parable, a method to invest your value in something you believe in.
But never fall in love with it. You do not want to follow the path of the Jews against the rest of society.

The way I see it. It's reasonable to see that the poor and desperate have more incentive to be selfish and the well-off generally have more to spare to afford selflessness.
