because hype and development are all about PND now. Doge has been quite stable and without considerable development lately.
On the other side, PND had a big surge in interest and development. And the oldfags of PND have now sorta ticket to moon, while newfags have still a chance to be part of the history of cryptocurrency and enjoy a few bucks from the ride.

What fucked me off most about DOGE was the whole act that they weren't in it for money. That saccharine act of "lel it's so fun being here and receiving tips for reposting the same shitty jokes". It's brilliant marketing for idiots and worked in gaining a big crowd, but I'm sure that now a lot of people have been burnt with the significant value drops, it'll slowly be abandoned. That's why I said before, it seems like it's only a matter of time before "community" (read: investor) pressure forces the devs to do something to up the value. Doge isn't dead, but it's only a matter of time before something happens with it.
