Thanks for the link, I'm checking it out now. I'm not here to defend the dev's at IOTA; if someone on their team is giving the brand some bad PR than that is relevant and interesting to me. I will say that it is frustrating when someone at a company says or does something stupid that ultimately costs investors some capital. I'm commenting on here because It's a little annoying to see the influx of posts regarding the political leanings at IOTA. When I'm on /biz/ I really only care about discussing smart fiscal decisions and how to achieve personal autonomy through financial freedom. I have opinions about the refugee crisis but I don't make my financial decisions based on the political leanings of a company or it's employees. I've been doing business long enough to know how to leave that kind of thing at the door unless their political position is vocal enough that it makes the investment too risky.

One negative would be the inability to integrate. The cities would probably be no-go zones for native citizens and they would eventually gain political influence to try and install sharia law. These refugees aren't interested in integration with the countries they fled to, they want to build a small piece of what they've left behind where ever they may end up.
