Do some research on some current mid-tier coins and find something that 1. looks strong 2. not like a scam and 3. has a decent market cap
Diversify
Etc
You might get 100k in a year instead of in a week but it's alot better than pumping $50k into a shitcoin and watching it crash

This is good advice. Doubling my money in a year sounds pretty good to me. I'm trying to think long term. I really don't know much about coins, but have been thinking about looking into it.

Cashing out is a pain in the ass because you're gonna get fucked by the IRS either way
TL;DR is
>Once you're ready to cash out, keep a log of transactions and the cash-out
>Move to cuckbase or localbitcoin or whatever
>trade for USD
You can sell all your BTC (or ETH/LTC/whatever) at once, the main problem is fees. I'd personally say Cuckbase is the easiest but hopefully by then there'll be other options
My best advice is: wait until a year after you spend the $50k to cash out, that way it's taxed as Capital Gains instead of Short Term Capital Gains, which is a bit easier.
