Im pretty sure huge part of the reason people were willing to try bitcoin out when it had literally nothing for itself in 2013 is the name.
Bitcoin is catchy, easy to remember and satisfying to say, what a great name.
Cardano just doesn't sound like a currency and the ADA tag really isnt great.
