I don't think you should work for free per se. But you may want to work on a project on your personal time, something similar to what you would do in the positions that you are applying for. It would make you stand out, demonstrate initiative, and give the employer a more solid idea of what you can do.

This is legit advice. My buddy worked for a contractor, they didn't need any help. I offered to work for free and said I wanted to learn. It got my foot in the door to skilled work.

Literally just lie. The HR/Personnel people they hire to do stuff like job interviews are literally the most inept, useless retards in the company that nobody wants to fire for whatever reason (usually its a decently attractive girl who's blowing somebody, or just someone who has personal connections with the higher-ups)

If you talk convincingly enough they won't bother with background checks or verifying any of your claims. During the interview for my current job I just straight up lied and said I was a management assistant at my previous job and they never questioned it or dug into my claim at all and hired me on the spot.

If that seems bad, I know a guy who's dad literally lied about graduating fucking highschool (dead serious) and got a job fixing naval vessels.

Use technology to figure what you need and just lie. If they catch you just laugh it off (not like youll be getting arrested ffs). Take the money while its going and sure if they figure out how clueless you are theyll likely just train you up rather than bother getting a rehire. If they do sack you sure its their failt for not doing their due diligence on you. Just lie about experience and take the job you want.
