What's everyone's UUUU plan? I'm thinking of just boomer holding it for years and just selling weekly CC's.

If Biden can actually get a green energy plan thru, it'll have to involve nuclear in some capacity. I don't think it'll be possible to be carbon neutral without nuclear.

You're assuming democrats and liberals in America think about nuclear energy rationally.

My dad is basically your dyed in the wool democrat, and holy shit, talking to him about nuclear energy is like arguing with a creationist. Despite being super safe and hyper efficient, they just can't let shit like Chernobyl or Fukushima go. You can point out fact after fact, statistic after statistic about the advantages over fossil fuels, both in terms of safety, efficiency and geo-politics (no more wars in the ME) and they just keep moving the goal posts. It's an absolute exercise in futility.

If Biden announces nuclear to be a part of his version of the green new deal, progressive democrats are going to flip their shit.

Nuclear is the most hated technology on the planet. It's not going anywhere unless we have a world war or total collapse. Too much interest in oil, it backs the dollar, huge capital investments/sunk cost, military industrial complex (did I mention petrodollar?), entrenched lobbyists etc. Green retards also hate it because Simpson's said Homer is dumb, and blinky the three eyed fish plus muh reasons. Betting on nuclear is betting against greed and stupidity and if there's one thing you should never bet against it's human greed and stupidity. On top of that if we ever do go nuclear in a big way gen IV reactors won't need nearly as much fuel and that's assuming we don't go thorium MSRs. We have enough mined thorium sitting in landfills to last thousands of years already assuming we went full nuclear/hydrogen economy.

UUUU is a horrible play. Just horrible.

Jesus Christ. You are a dumbo. Bank of America's report came out on Friday morning, and 100% caused the rally. Before this report, it has just been "whispers" floating in the air - the Fed has been priming the market for YCC launch, getting it in the head of the market, so that when it does actually drop it isn't a big surprise. They have been 'priming' the market for it since the summer. Bank of America is now speaking on behalf of the Fed, further priming the market.
You really think that a 2.9% surge in the market was not due to the BofA report? lol.
You think a +2.9% daily jump is normal? No. Extremely bullish news has to come out to pump it - it was the BofA report.

Yes. Not in the conventional sense that you know now. You will not own the car, so you will not pay for the insurance / repairs / gasoline (you will indirectly through paying for the service, but it will be a small fraction of what people pay now)
Cars will be driving around waiting for someone to 'order' a ride, covering geographic area so they are always ready at a moments notice - they will not need to park / parking in general will be reduced tremendously
The entire fleet will be electric as well (no gasoline) and will return back to the hub to be charged at the end of their 'shift'

>> No.30419728

I am not denying that people will still own cars, but overall, less people will. It won't make sense to, when you can pay 1/10th the price and get the same result
There will of course be logistic challenges - but on the most basic level, since the cars will be linked to your account, if there is any damage in the car it will be linked back to you (and you'll be responsible for the damages) resulting in people taking better care of them

>> No.30419855

There are already cars for rent, with mobile apps no less. They are very expensive per mile. So your 1/10th of a price is pulled out of your ass. It might be good option for someone who drives occassionally though, like few times amonth. But I would go bankrupt if I rented those everyday.
