When I was 18 I was too busy partying, drinking, smoking weed, doing drugs and having sex with girls to even consider trading. >Move out of your parents house. I stayed with my parents until I was 26 and, while I saved money, it stunted me as an adult. Man-Child isn’t just a pejorative, you need to be out there making do with what you’ve got
>Pride is a myth invented by the poor. You need your dignity, but never turn down an opportunity for financial or social advancement at the cost of “pride.”

Why are you holding onto ETH when it’s been underperforming this Bull Run? You’re married to those coins. Sell that shit and buy coins in the red so you can sell them in the green. The ATH is hypothetical, but profits are real - it’s better to sell at +10% and miss out on +15% than hold at +10% and watch it go down to -.5%. Again, never get married to a coin and always sell when the growth breaks +10%.

Took me 5 years of absolute grinding to dig myself out of my hole. My best advice would be don’t go into a bunch of debt. I saw too many of my peers drink, rack up credit card debt, car loans, etc. and save no money. Don’t let yourself become too close to a bunch of normies. They will try to break your focus non stop. You can see it about if you look. Kids would hang out and fuck about, wasn't rare to hear a group of kids laughing and talking to eachother. Now they talk through taps, same way I am to you. You'll see groups of them all hunched over their phones. Sure they're together but they're apart. Liking and commenting on some picture isn't the same as a face to face conversation. It doesn't bring people together, you're just content for people to view online, they don't know you. We're getting to thw point where socialising could be a thing of the past. People going to fancy restaurants just to show a bunch of people they barely know that they got this fancy mochazuchinni frappe chicken dinner. Some people would call me boomer but it's all around us, in the little things. And I'm pretty sure there's someone in the sky because I nearly got hit by lightning the second I said for gods sake. I think you have a good point, I know me and my friends still prefer to go out for drinks and spend the night out just to hang out with each other but my sister who's a good bit younger seems to spend most of her time chatting with her friends online, I know I do the same to an extent but most of the people I know are from around the world and I'd still prefer to actually be around them than just talking to faceless voices
I think it's something you come to appreciate with age, though even having grown up in the generation that popularized the concept of social media I generally avoided it.
Might just be a techno hermit but I like actually speaking to people and having a conversation, it's part of why I still browse a few boards here

People here don't really care what they post. Some do, certain things but there isn't as much bullshit as social media. Post body here and you'll either be fap material for gays or laughed at for being ugly and/or fat, there isn't much filter and no one really knows who you are. Don't get me wrong I use social media, mostly facebook because of my parents and siblings. I don't look much at the news that may be there and dont really post. I find with this place most people are here because they found a place that was different to other places on the internet. People who feel cast out by peers, people who were bullied etc stay here because with eachother they found some familiar sense of displacement felt by others here.
