Is this actually real? This is not an internet scam? I can actually liquidate this to my bank account and buy stuff with it? What the fuck is crypto. How is this sustainable for the world's economy. I didn't do anything and I get money?

normally this casino wealth is made on stock markets, but it's been made as difficult as possible to retail investors in the form of regulations and taxes. Crypto is kind of filling the retail investor niche.

Congrats on your first small trade. Do it a second time and you have four million. Granted it's hard enough to make one good trade like that, but even if you do a fourth as well as that last trade you're looking a one million. Now you know why so many people on 4chan have suspicious amounts of money. They earned it by taking risk and investing to get a huge return. The best part is there is no way you want to something this valuable for shitty fiat. Look at the dollar or yuro. It's been going down hard for pretty much all stocks and cryptos. I. Not even a ta fag bit I can recognize that a relatively straight line down for 10+yrs probably indicates that is not an asset you want to hold on to.

>> No.30401594

but with fiat I'd have actual money I can spend. I think I'll cash some out but keep the rest for gambling money. Once I hit 6-7 figures I'll start swapping them to BTC and ETH for long hold.

If you know what you are doing you can spend crypto much easier. Debt is cheap right now. If you really need so big ticket items then take out an equity line of credit on your house. Rates should be low because no way in hell you'd give up your home for a measly 25k or however much you ask. Best of all this is untaxed, unlike crypto which is not currency, not stocks, not bonds not dividends, but fucking property. The tax system wrote the rules dishonestly despite knowing some amount of how it works and what it is. They don't allow like kind trades.
You must jew the jew if you hope to really get anywhere big. Federal and state long term capital gains tax is absurdly high, and it's nauseating for short term rates. You can't cash out, you can only fill the coffers and maybe keep whatever crumbs fall over if they are feeling particularly generous that day.

I don't know if you're doing this to neg coins in general, or if you're just happy to have some cash.
My pesonal advice, always diversify your holdings. Crypto and Blockchain are crowded, and adoption isn't necessarily following. This doesn't mean you're not in a good project, just that the competition is getting rather thick. I would say the same on any type of asset, being over-weight in one class is a risk, if not in the long run, at the least in liquidity in a pinch.

im newfren. 20k is a lot of money for me poor ass. whenever i bring up anything related to crypto with my parents they get very doubtful and just deem it gambling (which it is). im nervous how id go about it with them if i ever make a substantial amount of gains like OP. i want to give them money to help out but i also would feel bad because they work hard for their money. i know this is not really a problem but id like to give back to them. anyone else have any positive/negative experiences relating to this?

Any money is money and if they can't recognize that you did some amount of "work" for your gains (research etc.), even if you didn't, it doesn't really matter because you're helping out. If someone really values money it doesn't matter where it came from, if you were successful in what they deem "Gambling" there should be no problem
