I'm a poorfag that works at an amazon fulfillment center despite having a degree in economics and computer science because I'm a mentally ill retard, but even I know BNT is way undervalued. Bought in big 2 weeks ago. Buying in again now with all that's left of my paycheck after my weekly LINK and BRK.B DCA investments.

BNT is worth more than uniswap because the technology is better and uniswap is currently at $30. If you don't understand why the technology is better you're a retard and will probably paper-hand sell when it dips or you won't see it coming if a competitor emerges in the future that would DELETE its value like half of the shitcoins biz currently shills on here because the price is rising now based on speculation and you're not smart enough to win the speculation game, so you'll loose everything so just fuck off.
In 2 years BNT will be at least $200. That is my conservative analysis.

Buy, stake, forget.

I already have plenty eth cause I'm not a nigger. If you're worried about gas you shouldn't drive.

>So you are saying because of the low fees the value will fall
No retard. Low fees attract people who want to swap which will bring the price of uniswap up. Exchanges work because people provide liquidity. How exactly do you think they work? Bancor protects against impermanent loss, making it the ideal place for liquidity providers to provide liquidity. Uniswap's market is the #1 provider of shitcoin swaps. Bancor's market is the best service for liquidity providers for coins that at least have something to them.

Uniswap will still exist because you can buy shit like MCDC there. But capital will flow into bancor. Also use 1inch.

You provide eth / link / bnt only and the system matches the rest. Single sided staking. You collect 0.2 % trade fees and there is liquidity mining for the next year or so to increase liquidity. As it's single sided you aren't exposed to 2 assets therefore no impermanent loss if you stake for 100 days.

Okay, I moved all of my bankies and some Eth over into metamask. Guess I'm going to go with single sided staking, which I'm assuming is everything with a little shield icon next to it. Is the general strategy to just select the pool with the highest APR?

Or say, if I were to select the ETH/BNT pool, does that mean I get paid out in both tokens and should accumulate the one that's most attractive to me?

Hey guys how has your experience been with 1inch when converting BNT to vBNT? When going that direction it warns of 22% slippage, how has that played out for you? I got burned on slippage using Bancor, paid $50 to swap and it failed because it slipped too much and then the ETH is gone.

I was shopping in a grocery store in Tel Aviv getting snacks for my weekly drive to Mecca three days ago and I saw Ghalia Benartzi. I thought no way that could be her, but I checked my phone and it definitely was. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person and how much I loved Bancor, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for photos or anything. She said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but she kept cutting me off and going “My bancies are stanky! My bancies are stanky!” while rubbing her hands together and slouching over. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard her chuckle as I walked off. I went up front to pay for my groceries and looked to my right, I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in her hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Ma'am, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When the cashier took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, she stopped her and told her to scan only one of them and stake it “to get sweet 1500% apy gains,” while fumbling through her pocket grabbing a Bancor logo sticker and sticking it directly on the the scanner. While the cashier was trying to pick the sticker off, Ghalia turned around and winked at me. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, she kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Staking rewards are basically the devs going brrrr with the coin printer. If your coin isn't losing value it's because there's still enough buy pressure to keep the price up despite the inflationary action. Here's the kicker: you'd make just as much from the appreciation of your coins with no staking as you are with staking.
It does nothing.
Of course if your coin offers staking you should absolutely do it or you lose out but it's not creating any value. It's watering down the value while giving you free coins to make up for it; it's a wash.

yeah except without staking, there wouldn't be any appreciation. good luck attracting initial liquidity and loyalty to your protocol without it. the inflation is a necessary part of the growth. not to mention that the inflation rate is not even near worrying.

although i must mention to my big brain frens that the chad play right now if you have rewards over 28 days old is not to re-stake them, but to withdraw them and trade for vBNT while the peg is low. you can then trade them back to BNT once the peg returns (burn mechanism to go live over next 1-2 wks) and re-stake them then if you wish. this is much higher ROI than simply staking atm. i will not elaborate

At any time ever you can simply buy BNT and convert it into vBNT at 1:1. vBNT will never be priced above 1:1 for any significant period of time

So vBNT may temporarily spike above 1:1 ratio on pure volatility or spikes in demand - the price will quickly return to max of 1:1 as it is arbitraged down. because you can always simply buy BNT, stake it, and sell it on the market to make a profit.

>if you have rewards over 28 days old is not to re-stake them, but to withdraw them and trade for vBNT
withdrawal will reset your rewards multiplier in all pools. is the vBNT/BNT trade off worth ~1.5x of your pool rewards for the next month?

Rewards multipliers are retroactive so the reward multilplier gets applied to all of them earned.
