>general public believes this, there is enough surface level evidence to tell a half-truth
>Robinhood and similar apps are thrown under the bus in court in the meantime; fall guys take the fall, everyone else quietly flees the sinking ship (they don't care, they'll get cushy jobs later for cooperating)
>results in policies that stop small time traders from just downloading an app and buying stock immediately without an intermediary

The market is already facing destruction if GME takes off without inhibition. The theory I laid out kills the market in the short term, but it also places all the control in the hands of a tightly knit group. We already have the federal reserve printing historic amounts of money for this exact situation, a controlled market that can't be ruined by common people, the Chinese, etc. is their goal. They really don't need your input, and in time everyone will forget the GME shit just like this election and willingly buy into a rigged game anyway.

All other stocks would be obsolete compared to the gains of Gamestop like no reason to ever NOT pour all your money into this magic dream stock that can get you everything you ever wanted. It would be a lot like Bitcoin dominance. 72% of stock market would be in GME.

TL:DR they would've had to massively regulate the stock market in a profound way just to keep flow of money going around keeping stocks afloat. And they still will if GME makes another giant push. The market is literally proven to crash when GME does well, we already have seen it be a inverse.

And Jerome Powell gets asked about it in his interview and just shrugs like what the hell are you even worried about? No of course I am not planning on messing with bonds, they are fine.

Then they passed stimulus in the Senate which made the market bounce. Could cause cash equilibrium making it seem like Gamestop isn't doing as much, but once people see GME blasting off its going to start it over again.

They've already said they ran out of capital (very convenient they mentioned that after the fact, not during) and that neither Citadel nor anyone else told them to do what they did. They're not going to admit to any of that. It's interesting that they use their own clearing house, a subsidiary of RH, so if it were true they would have effectively told themselves to stop. So many other ways they could have handled this, assuming they're telling the truth - they could have shut down both buy and sell sides, communicated to their customers, not allowed trades from new accounts, not allowed trades on margin.

Assuming that is true and they weren't told to shut it down, we're in worse shape than we know because it ran like a playbook for what to do in a event like this - shut down the buy side, WSB goes dark, kicked off of discord - all nearly simultaneously.

The government will allow the short squeeze to happen in my opinion. The government is corrupt and greedy and wants 1 thing: tax money. All the fedbux that have been printed and stuffed into imaginary accounts, which are currently untaxable, are now suddenly available to be plundered. As gamestop price rises, increasingly powerful people will have to liquidate holdings, which will trigger a cascade of capital gains claims. Once the dust settles, and the final GME share is sold (if ever), the government will tax the beneficiaries of the sales (the NEETS) who gained money from the turbo jew accounts which previously held money in limbo. Most of this tax money will be short term capital gains taxes which is good for the government.

Tldr: It is in the government's financial interest to allow the squeeze to happen.

i'm not telling anyone to sell at any price, nor am I saying that anyone's gonna be left holding bags.
at any rate, i don't think a custodian actually literally owns the assets. but someone pointed out to me they would probably be insured to the equivalent of assets they manage, which does make sense to me.
at any rate, to me that's just a bridge we'll cross if we cross it. i'll be watching the money closely trying to figure out how i wanna exit. i don't think you can blame anyone who finds a million per share with a shadow company that owns america liquidating its assets to pay up a little hard to believe when we're still at the beginning of everything. call me fud if you want, the only thing i do in these threads is think these through with common sense as much as possible.

I was at the gym and this guy came and tried to take equipment from my friend and I screamed at him and called him a faggot and we started yelling at each other saying we were going to fight each other. Later I went up and apologized, shook his hand and we are friends to this day.

I had a court deposition last week regarding a multi million dollar lawsuit and the defense attorney for the other side fell into my charm and it was obvious. My own attorney told me during the break "dude even the defense attorney likes you, they're so fucked" because a large part of winning these cases is likeability.

Drama has a function. Human emotion has a function. Peace treaties and oaths have a function. Don't be autistic, learn to recognize it for the ridiculous shit that it is and use it. Even laugh at it sometimes. Even the drama and shows like jersey shore has a purpose. Don't deny your humanity.

You act like it's a sure way thing we're gonna reach 5 figures or even 7, why the fuck not, forgetting it's a stock market. Nothing is guaranteed here unless you boomerinvest in bonds and indexes, then be my guest. It's like you forgot that when price was going into thousands, as one of the big shots admitted on fucking TV all kinds of fuckery happened to stop it.

I'm glad we're in the middle of a hedgie battle, it gives me more confidence. But not enough confidence to repeat after some random Satanichia avatarfaggot le million per share because literally who on twitter. It's like you forgot (or worse - never saw) that one drawfag posting anime girls with Pornhub shirts who sold at 50 (lol) and later claimed to be a shill. Was he one? Up to you to decide.

We base our predictions on half-baked info that often can hardly be sourced, on guessing, on common sense like anything is common about this situation. On the other side you have hedgies with wealth of information. Are you THAT sure they're on the ropes? How do you know that?

I think robinhood was the one who prevented people from buying and implemented buying limits for the longest time, also it was the most used by regular retail. My broker prevented buying for a day before removing all restrictions and allowed buying again.

Please learn how to use a keyboard, reading your >50 comments gave me a variety of cancers. Everyone else here is able to write in a way that shows a minimum of respect to the readers, except for you, who types like a complete degenerate. Interpunction is a thing. Ortography is a thing. Show the people who read what you have to say some respect, the alternative is insufferable.

guys i need your help im averaged in at 295 a share i have over 100. should i sell once it gets above 300 and buy back in when it drops to 40ish again or am i too late it will never reach that number again. some anons said that the price may not drop to shit before the squeeze. if it did drop to 40 i could buy 10x the amount of shares i have now but it may just keep climing each day and not drop again to sub 100$ what do you anons think

>> No.30390826

>>30390798
I think you're dumb for not averaging down before.

Wait for Monday dip and then buy. Dont expect it below 130 tho.

>> No.30390882

Does that mean every time a stock price ends above a new ITM option the sellers have to buy the shares? If so when do they buy them?

>> No.30390886

>>30390798
No one knows. General consensus is that it won’t go back down as low as 40 though

>> No.30390946

Youre sitting on 100 shares, you'll be fine. Dont risk that by trying to predict volatile movements in the most unpredictable stock ever. It may go down sure, and you'd regret not upping your shares. BUT you might sell and then watch it squeeze, in which case you'd probably blow your brains out.

It means they have to if the calls are exercised. Not every call has to be exercised and can be settled with cash. The sellers can decide to buy the shares before expiry too. That way they don't have to buy at a higher price if the price is expected to go up. It's up to the call seller when to buy the stock, but it's a fact that he has to buy if someone exercises his call
