Just ordered a few Goldback bills, mostly as a novelty and because I was tired/bored of waiting for new low-premium silver bullion deals. Limited myself to larger denominations where the per-unit price has a low "premium" relative to the Goldback base price (which of course is a premium over gold by itself). The concept is neat, but I don't know if it'll really catch on. I'd like to see them succeed though.

The Paul Birch papers from the 1980’s suggest otherwise. Their thesis is that we (the US) could switch from a petrodollar to a solardollar by using a space elevator to place arrays of solar panels in space. This would generate enough revenue for the federal government to have no choice but to distribute the wealth to citizens in the form of zero taxes across the board, free healthcare, and UBI. I think Alaska does something like this, but not via solar power. These people look negatively on the Austrian school and on precious metals. I think a debate would be very interesting.

That's great but we don't have material. Forces on cables of space elevator would be extreme. Steel and titanium are to weak to fulfill that role.. The only candidate is carbon nanotube. The problem is you must make monolithic one and place one end into low earth orbit. Any connections would brake immanently.

This is unironically the best use case for utility scale solar. However I still think it would be cheaper and easier to deploy molten salt fission reactors that are capable of burning “spent” fuel rods while we develop the thorium -> U233 fuel cycle.

The entire financial system will be destroyed if you do this. Silver is to the banks what GME is to Melvin Capital. Is this what you want to happen when we’re in the middle of a pandemic? If the banks fall apart you will wipe out every single person who is holding dollars. What the hell is wrong with you. America will be destroyed. Good, always call out Chucks when you sneed them

Edit: Thanks for the gold kind sneed

Edit 2: 327 sneeds for this? Haha wow that's the most I've ever gotten, thanks feeds and seeds and everything in between!

Edit 3: WTF 600 sneeds wow thank you all so much this is the best birthday ever

Edit 4: Thanks for all the birthday wishes fellow /biz/raelites. I tippeth mine sneed to thee on this pleasant morrow.

Edit 5: Ok, so this went viral overnight for some reason O_o 2000 motherflipping sneedies I really have no words thank you all so much it means a lot!

Edit 6: ok I'm noticing some toxic Chucks happening in this reply chain and I feel the need to address it. Sucks and fucks are not cool guys, so please cool it and continue the good seed and feeds!

Edit 7: ok so I don't know why but I've received a lot of sucks and fucks on this post recently, maybe i got raided by 4chuck.com/b?? (commonly referred to as the "asshole of the internet" for those who aren't aware). I don't really ask for much but I was hoping we could show those losers a thing or two, so please give this post an sneed if you haven't already, it would mean the world to me and show these chucks you cannot mess with a good sneed.

Edit 8: turns out my girlfriend sneeded on me, so that happened :/

Edit 9: so people have been wanting me to clarify the previous edit. I don't have the energy to go into a lot of detail so the general gist of it is this: Yes we were in an open relationship, no that doesn't mean you can't sneed on someone when you're in an open relationship. If you are having sex regularly with someone and never mention it until they get you pregnant, that is definitely a betrayal of trust even if you've both agreed that she can have as many partners as she feels she sneeds to be comfortable.

Edit 10: FYI, taking responsibility for the child does not make me any less of a sneed than you, actually it makes me more, so kindly chuck off please and thank you!

I've worked for just above minimum wage my adult life (over 15 years) doing unarmed security work because I'm not too bright so I couldn't let a once in a lifetime opportunity like the looming hyperinflation pass by without doing something to set myself up for success. Anyways, thanks guys you've given me a new lease on life.

Yep its main gold mine expansion project looks promising. They want to go after a deeper section of the ore body and expand their mill / camp. I dont recall seeing anything right off the bat that looked out of place or wrong, but i couldnt get into their financial PDFs due to website construction. I ll look again in a bit and see if anything changed.

Irrespective of the 10y yield and everything else that is “real,” I actually do sense an almost palpable change in the air. A sort of nervousness. Like something major is about to happen to the economy and everyone who has any knowledge of our dire situation is waiting in anxious anticipation. This is evidenced physically by strange things like the Congo gold mountain story, internet silver discussions being railroaded or deleted, BTC mania going into overdrive, etc. Something big is about to happen. Weird post, I know, but you can almost “feel” like the dam is about to break for the global economy.

That's how I've been viewing the WSB & BTC guys.
They're willing to risk it all for a chance at a moonshot, not caring about downside risk. They are "investing" like its a board game, they are just trying to win the game. They probably don't understand exactly why they are behaving like this but there is virtually no downside risk with hyperinflation around the corner.

"Irving Resources Inc. (IRV:CSE; IRVRF:OTCBB), headed by the charming and talented Akiko Levinson, has over half a dozen high grade gold and silver deposits covering past producing mines going back as long as 400 years ago. During WW II Japan closed down all precious metals mining to meet the needs of wartime production. Japan has a long history of gold and silver production. It was only a few years back that the country reopened its borders to non-Japanese resource companies.

Irving's primary focus today is on the Omu property located on the island of Hokkaido in the far north of Japan. Drilling began in 2019 and has produced some extraordinary grades and thickness of mineralization in results released so far. Newmont Goldcorp joined as a Strategic Investor in April of 2019 investing $6 million into Irving. In early 2020 Newmont put in an additional $4 million.

In comparison to operations in Nevada or Canada or Australia, progress is slow in drilling and exploration. Japan has literally had to reinvent the wheel since no one in the resource ministry was even alive when Japan was a major gold producer. They are taking baby steps because they have to. In addition the Covid virus has pretty much crippled transportation as the nation has slowed to a crawl. Mining is reemerging but done in a way satisfactory to the Japanese government.

In June of 2020 Irving made an incredible coup by announcing a non-binding term sheet to come to an agreement on the acquisition of the famous Yamagano gold mine from the Shimadzu family. This mine was in production for over 360 years and was a primary source of the wealth of one of the most important families in Japan. Located on the island of Kyushu the mine is about 11 km from the world famous high-grade Hishikari gold mine."

"Three investors own over 42% of the shares. That would be Akiko Levinson President and CEO, Dr. Quinton Hennigh, Director and Eric Sprott, billionaire. In addition the next highest seven shareholders own 36% more of the shares. In short on a basis of existing shares, 78% of the issued stock is in the tightest of hands and 82% on a fully diluted basis. The remaining 20% or so is made up of tiny positions held by small shareholders who toss them onto the market when they need some change."

"It would be safe to suggest that Irving maintains a giant competitive advantage in that a Japanese woman runs the company who not only understands how Japan works but also has run a successful mining exploration company in Canada. Akiko Levinson has a foot in each camp. When I read the press releases from Irving about what their technical team found during exploration, I began to buy shares. This company is the hardest company to build a decent position in of any that I have ever seen due to the tiny float. A fund wanting a position worthy of the name could double the stock again in a week."

"While I was in Hokkaido on the site visit we were in and out of the office with mud on our boots. I looked around and caught Akiko sweeping the floor. If I was ever to recommend a company it would be one in which the CEO is paid peanuts and has to rely on share appreciation to make money and picks up a broom and sweeps when the floor is dirty. I love this company."

I'm not wholly qualified to answer your questions, but what I can suggest is that you:
1) read the Bible and pray. If you want a guide for the first part, I can wholeheartedly recommend Fr. Stephen de Young's 'Whole Counsel of God' podcast. Technically there's an archive that goes all the way back to Deuteronomy, but I'd recommend starting at Luke when he started being syndicated with AFR:
https://www.ancientfaith.com/podcasts/wholecounsel
2) contact your nearest priest:
https://www.assemblyofbishops.org/
and remember:
>Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
>And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

After all this copper talk I decided to look up the composition of Euro coins. Turns out that the 1, 2 and 5 cent coins are 95% steel. Unbelievable.

i dont see how thats a fud either, a large amount of the worlds silver and gold comes from copper gold mines or from other mixed metal / base metal processing. Its rare to have a pure silver or gold project because it doesnt pay the bills unless there is a lot of the single metal to bring to market. Its seems strange that some people dont realize this.

What the fud also misses is that the only reason why many base-metal mines are classified as copper, zinc, lead etc. mines in the first place is because the price of silver is so artificially suppressed. Don Durrett says that NorZinc should already be calling their mine a silver mine, not a zinc mine, and we're not even at $30 silver yet. If we got anywhere near the $966 inflation-adjusted ATH I can't even imagine how many mines would be justifiably re-classified as "silver mines." The "mining-waste" fud is actually a sick joke because it's one of many ways which is used to short silver (i. e. talking silver down, making it seem worthless) and therefore itself brings about the idea which the fud is falsely predicated upon.

i plan on leaving them as part of tips. if i ring up $100 at a restaurant and get good service, instead of leaving $20 tip, may do something like $16 + 1 Goldback. you know they'd take it home, look at it, look it up online, etc. in reality, probably the best tip (info) you can give them.

Nah for my garden. For the worm casting and leachate. Worms are expensive though, a pound of wrigglers is $45-60. It's mostly just a project, but who knows. I've got a 3 tier set up right now, but I can always hook up 3 50 gallon garbage cans and have a habitat capable of sustaining like 60 pounds of worms(60,000)

last time i went was last march, when the bottom was falling out. think spot was something crazy, like $13, so i was hoping to grab some cheapies, but the price wasn't anywhere near that. it was still like $1 cheaper than online (and the online price would've been for a much higher quantity), so i got some maples, assorted years, none of them close to BU.

Yes to both questions. Perhaps some confirmation bias is sneaking into my answers, though. I guess I want my feelings to be justified by answering affirmatively to your questions. But I actually have noticed some dangerous drivers and some odd behavior in people lately, although the latter could just be your run-of-the-mill NPC rage and general lockdown malaise.
