yes, two different things entirely. ETH core devs have been working on sharding since 2016. the sharding shill has been endless and rekentless. sharding sharding woo woo eth is the greatest, eth solving scaling, shard shard shard. now it's 2021 and they've quietly abandoned sharding, and the shill this year is that the L2 solutions are the best, not sharding. the devs have (((discovered this))). and all these years vitalik and those eth core devs shit on everything that was L2 focused.

Except ETH is years away if not completely abandoned sharding at this point. He's telling you that Vitalik and the Ethereum Foundation have shifted narratives since 2021 from Sharding to Layer 2 solutions. Polkadot will literally be ready within this year and will have full safety and interoperability with ETH. EIP-1559 is the final exit scam before ETH falls flat like Netscape. Sell in a few months at a high and take profit, all i can say buddy.
