It's kind of like how before DOGE was pumped, all scrypt coin profitability was in lock step with litecoin. Now most scrypt coins follow DOGE coin profitability to some extent because it is the most profitable coin with stable volume. It is seen as the base level of expectation when mining.

i attend most of the SF crypto stuff, and this was a very different crowd. probably only 20% were the usual bitcoin cryptocurrency people. usually it's a sausagefest of autists and libertarians (i mean that endearingly), the gender ratio was like 80/20 which was really surprising.

Hello there /Biz/ness men and ladies, I'd like to get some info on Crypto currency. I've read up on it on the web but I still dont understand how people can place faith on a currency that has no physical form. I understand its like credit in the sense that its a virtual value, but there's that fact that there's this solid dollar coin that backs up a virtual dollar, but not Crypto currency, it has no physical body, I can't go to my bank and ask them for physical Dogecoins in exchange for my physical dollar, so how can I, or anyone else as a matter of fact, have trust into something that has no value outside the virtual realm

With cryptos, the rules are for the most part set in stone when it is created and you are putting your faith in a system run by machines rather than humans. DOGE will never be invaded casuing its value to plummet or get taken over by another country leading to it being replaced or be susceptible to an incompetent government. It simply exists and will continue to exist as long as there are computers to verify its existence and transactions.

Whether like it or not digital currency is the future. How many people are still paying with cash these days anyway? I'm not saying the defacto currency will be something which exists today, but digital currencies created by governments and other entities will certainly take cues from these early forms.

The only way to run the setup.exe for PND is to run it as administrator, but then it installs makes the file with the blockchain and wallet in the adminstrator account instead of using the one already in my user account.
I know I can always copy that folder into the admin local data folder, but is there a way to make it use the old file?

I think you are misinterpreting things. It's not a big deal sinse there is a big languace/cultural/communication gap, but le me explain the way I see things.

You see, china is made of people, way more than a billion actually. Some of these people are into cryptos: they mine, they trade, they post on forums and do all sorts of shit. Like you and me.
Now, there's big brother in China. Think like an asian NSA. And if the goverment says you're not trading with cryptos, you're not trading with cryptos. So people just try to sell their cryptos, for fiat, that they can use.
