Gold is the only thing they can trust to store their wealth in
wealth = commodities (all products and services are built on top of commodities) = oil, corn, copper, silver, etc
gold = all father of commodities as it is the most versatile commodity as well as the longest lasting commodity, it is the only thing that will never rot, spoil, degrade, tarnish or rust
dollars and bitcoin however are worthless faith based currencies; the only way you can convince someone to accept bitcoin/dollars for commodities is if you can convince them that someone else will also accept it for commodities
if no one will accept them you are left standing with worthless bits/paper
with gold you will never be left standing, you will always be able to trade it for other commodities (wealth) because gold will always be needed for its properties, properties that NEVER fade

I depends what you like and what you find the cheapest, remember though. Government minted coins have the backing of the government that minted them, so in theory should not be that easily faked and thus easier to sell. Rounds however are cheaper, but everyone can make them. Depending or your jurisdiction, bars can actually more expensive per ounce, because of weird tax laws.

There's no cut and dry strategy of how to stack. Do what you like.
People prefer junk silver as it's easy and cheap to acquire, and additionally provide recognition and divisible means in a shtf situation.
Between rounds and bars, if you've no personal preference, then go for what's cheapest.
Also, once you reach 100oz, start stacking gold as well.

that all sounds great.
I love kangaroos and krugs. Have you considered the Congo Gorillas? under $30/oz atm if you get 20 at Scottsdale mint.

I don't have an updated picture of my stack, this is from like a month ago. I'm waiting for everything that's on its way gets here before I take a new one. It was built up over a long time so it was a bunch of small purchases. I was focusing on trying to diversify my rounds as much as I could (while not paying crazy premiums)
I have 10 krugs, 5 britanias, one of each crescent city silver series, 20 gorillas, 2 kangaroos, and 5 misc 1oz rounds on their way / not pictured.

whats all this bullshit about? So some african villagers struck it rich with a placer deposit sitting on top of what sounds like a nicely eroded VMS deposit. They will wash that thing down and loose 60% of what they could get with their primitive sluices than forget about the actual ore body in a few months. This happens on a monthly basis in Congo. African artisanal miners are not what we call smart. They are peasants that follow me most basic ideas and technology to recover what they can than abandon the area when a new strike is found.

Vid related, these guys abandoned this pit in under two weeks, only going after the surface material. Dozens have tried to teach them, and it never works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HkVxS42dq4

I have no clue what that looks like in Congo, but its probably a total mess. The gov and military came in and told the miners to fall in line, stake claims and work properly thats all by the looks of things. I wonder how thick the pay layer is, what the gold looks like? if you want to make 20-50x, own the mines. buy their shares.

why?

Company A: margin of US$500 an ounce at $1600 POG.
At $10k POG, margin increases by 16800%, which means an uplift of profitability by 16800%.
Whereas POG in this same instance only increased 600%.

dilution occurs if there is an equity capital raising. profitable companies dont need to raise capital because they have free cashflow.
alternatively companies that build mines can also use debt to build the mine.

uncertainty? nigger i am absolutely positive gold is going to US$10k, which is why i am going to make the most of it by having the most leverage, which is in the stock, not owning the end product itself.

Most physical silver gets used up by modern tech and is eventually lost to landfills. Most physical gold sits around in the kikes vaults until the next holobunga. Silver will go up much higher than gold, with or without retail buying, thanks to industrial demand. Gold might do a 2x or 3x in the next few years, while silver does 100x as demand surpasses supply. depends on who gets it and where it goes. By the looks of things a few specific people got the best ground first, as always happens. Now that gold is going to pour into the local area first, than it will spread out likely to the major cities for purification and distribution to the major market. We wont feel much from this I dont think, especially with how primitive the diggings are there. I could probably pan a few dozen ounces from their tailings if i tried. There may be a bit of a blip if the gold all gets put on the market at once, but that rarely happens in this situation.

Honestly I'm convinced we're seeing more sell-offs today and next week. I'll exit one more miner position of mine and will just sit on my chips and wait. Dollar is up, yields are up, major indices and precious metals are slightly down. Interestingly most other commodities are up pretty bigly, I guess markets are seeing safety there. Most cryptos dumping unsurprisingly, but there are XRP is up a little and IOTA is up hugely -- guess the crypto crowd picked their safe haven amongst each other, I expect those to dump in time as the sell-offs continue next week.

Only question now is: how fast do we slide and when does the Fed intervene?

Interesting project in Colombia, Aris wants to upgrade an existing gold mine that has been worked for hundreds of years with a new mill and a deep zone expansion, drilling looks good too. They are operating a "vein runner" style underground mine, following the wider more mineralized stockworks of quartz veining with very narrow and small scale equipment. An existing 1200 tpd mill would need to be upgraded along with more underground and surface infrastructure to bring the project forword. I cant say much about this project though, i ll need to investigate further. I am no financials guy so you will have to ask others about that, but the major workings on site seem very promising.

Yeah, and if silver gets expensive enough, it'll push for manufacturers to look for other alternatives, and when that goes through, it'll crash silver hard.

>> No.30273138

>>30273031
It's not physical but if you want to have exposure to the metals then buy mining stonks. PSLV is also not physical because you need to have millions to be able to take delivery.

If it's low amounts of silver like 10oz you can stack that with your normal paycheck. For the gold either bite the bullet or buy 100 goldbacks.
>Inb4 goldback fudder comes on
Yes they have a premium but they're usable currency backed by pms and follow gold's increase. They're deflationary and if you have any fiat it should be goldbacks not us dollar. MaKe sure to find a site that sells them in packs of 100 or the full set to lower premium.
