It's communicating that you can DCA for years on end and still not break even. If you DCA'd through the early 2000s, you would have waited until 2006-2007 to recoup your losses, and then you would have lost everything again if you weren't astute enough to sell.

Okay so this is a bit of DD about SOXL.
What I am about to show is that this should basically be impossible statistically speaking that a cycle would repeat itself with this accuracy. As questionable as TA sometimes may be, this particular analysis is not even complicated or reading tea leafs, this is just comparing past declines with the current one.

The percent decline of Feb 14th to March 19th 2020 of SOXL is exactly the same as the percent decline of Feb 16th to yesterday (March 4th).

He didn't ditch stocks. He didn't promise more bonds buying. This is a scam. This market will crash when the FED goes on a series of rate hikes and kills the market. Right now it's a joke that people seriously contemplating that this is a burst of anything. The bubble is firmly controlled by the FED, and bubbles pop after the FED drains money. No money was drained. No money is getting drained in a foreseeable future. It's just a violent over reaction to seasonal lack of buying.

I have some bad news for you man. After the peak at $711 pre-split, SOXL has been following a downward trend as tech stocks are ass raped. Pre-split, the 5 year projection out to year 2026 was a share price of $1,112. After the split and through out this week, the 5 year projection has unfortunately been downgraded to $1,000 - $1,047 by year 2026. I'm literally shaking in my boots I'm so scared of this week, the horror.

The entire western world functions by use of semiconductors and oil (and derivatives). There is no escaping this fact and I don't care what any kike financial advisor 'doom and glooms' about this week or even the next week. We are in a global shortage in EVERY INDUSTRY that is reliant on semiconductors. I don't give a rats ass about anyone posting pink wojacks or otherwise because they are just noise. The owner of TSM laughed and told everyone to calm their tits and he dgaf about any shortage. The five year projection is all over the internet for those who want to look up that information. Also, anyone who says a 3x leveraged ETF is a short term hold IS A FUCKING MORON and their opinion will be trashed. SOXL post-split, in regard to the global semi environment is and will always be a long term hold. Everyone worth their clout in financials doing TA for a living knows SOXL is long term.

Lastly, and as an aside, if those of you out there are too worried about losing money, let me tell you- Microsoft, Google and Amazon are on sale this week. Microsoft is projected to go to $380 by March 2023 and Amazon to $5000. Take the SOXL money you have from selling low, buy those blue chips then forget about the money and never touch those.

nearly every single surgery was cancelled - patients sent home. of course the hospital will be empty
nurses were laid off in mass due to this exact problem
it took time for the virus to get everywhere in the country. if you were a nurse working in a hospital in fucking north dakota you didn't get fucked until the summer
that created months, and months where the hospitals were under capacity
>omg the virus is fake!!
you're a retard if you think this

I understand the dump of meme Tech, but why semi?

ASML and TSMC actually offer products that are currently needed and further growth seems natural as the need for semis wont go anywhere...

Interdesting but I'm still in the healthy green on my semi stocks.

I don't see the industry go down, everyone buys new cars, smartphones etc. even dead broke people buy new phones regularly why would that Change?

Semi will go back up long term. I mean it isnt even realy down if you hold for more then a year.

The problem is you won't know whether a company is good until after the fact. Losing money catching a falling knife is worse than staying in cash until a recovery is confirmed. It's the same as FOMO, except that you're targeting red candles.

Most of them go down. Chances are your account would be bleeding money even if you're diversified.
